It’s funny, I bet DJT will demand for Biden to have some sort of cognitive assessment done and have the results made public. Don’t be surprised. Already got a hold of trumps

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Republicans once dominated voting by mail in Florida. But that was before President Donald Trump got involved.

After months of hearing Trump denigrate mail-in balloting, Republicans in the critical battleground state now find themselves far behind Democrats in the perennial push to urge their voters to cast ballots remotely. While Democrats have doubled the number of their voters who have requested mail ballots compared to 2016, Republicans have increased their numbers by about 20% since then.

The recent tally is the hard evidence confirming many Republicans' fears about Trump's tweeting about mail-in voting: GOP voters are listening and appear less likely to take advantage of what many election and health officials agree is the easiest and safest way to vote in a pandemic.

I wonder about that. I’ve seen Saul’s quote on a Trump advert, but you gotta wonder if it’s doctored like the pelosi video which was slowed down to make her look impaired. Most of the trump stuff that gave me my impressions of him has been live in real time. I will admit that joe looked less than stellar in his debate performances during primaries. If this is the guy who shows up, he’s in trouble. Trump will creme him, not on substance mind you cause he doesn’t really know anything about the issues of this country ie “why aren’t we letting more people from Norway into the country” but because he’s just overbearing. The only one I think would be able to go toe to toe with him is Nancy pelosi.

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump on Thursday questioned whether the 2020 presidential election should potentially be postponed, claiming it could be ripe for fraud.
“With Universal Mail-In Voting (not Absentee Voting, which is good), 2020 will be the most INACCURATE & FRAUDULENT Election in history," Trump tweeted. "It will be a great embarrassment to the USA.
Delay the Election until people can properly, securely and safely vote???”

It's a strategy, because all the polls give him the loser, given his mismanagement of the pandemic.

By postponing the date it would give scientists the chance to find a vaccine.

Damn don't let him do that, that's more than dishonest.

That would be the only way he would get a second term but I don`t believe he has the power to delay the election without the backing of congress.

It is funny how polarized people are.

To Trump supporters I would like to say: he clearly has a personality disorder and is not a very competent administrator to say the least.

To Biden supporter: his mental acuity is clearly fading and having been elected to the senate in 1972 he is not “new blood that will change things”.

fading:

video from a live event. Sadly reminds me of my grandpa - was a great man but losing it in the end. Biden not there yet of course. Unclear how these things evolve.

you should be able to point problems on both side. We are repeating the 2016 disaster election (where both sides were horrible).

Isn’t Trump always claiming that his negative polling r all fake news & that he’s actually winning. So why delay his inevitable (more like imaginary) victory by postponing the election? Poor Trumpers r now hard at work trying to explain away their Orange King’s latest BS.

For a guy who’s supposedly not quite there anymore, Biden was surprisingly prescient when he predicted in April that Trump would try to delay the election.

Donbusch, yet another coincidence.

After putting my post on what Trump said about the possible postponement of the elections, I did something else, then I come back afterwards and I see that you were even faster than me.

It's because we care about telling the real things, (unlike fake news).

A mere 4 year delay is not the end of the world.
He would win anyway, why waist everybody’s time with going through the motions of an election.
He has made America great again that is the least the people can do for him.
Ask not what you can do for the people but what they can do for you.

Please. Fradi there is no comparison between Trump and JFK.

And it's not true that he made America great. The US is a laughing stock in all countries of the world, currently for the mismanagement of the pandemic.

His only way to win the next election would be for them to be postponed, or for a totally illegal election to benefit Trump.

Agree 100%, no comparison whatsoever. JFK was famous for fucking his paramours (including, but not limited to senators' wives, as rumours go) on the Oval Office desk, can anyone imagine Trump doing that? For one thing, the desk would probably break down immediately. Other problems would certainly follow as well.

Hilarious: fradi has gleefully stated on more than one occasion that Bunker Boy will "win" the next election...but fradi is obviously MUCH more confident than the Lunatic-in-Chief, who is now obviously terrified and mentioning the possibility of delaying the election (which of course he does not have the power to do). Will the Lunatic-in-Chief "win" the next election (like he "won" the last one with three million FEWER votes than the "loser")? Well, who knows? That remains to be seen...but it's quite obvious that Bunker Boy is a LOT more scared than his number one defender fradi. Then again, Bunker Boy is ALWAYS scared: that's how he got the nicknames Bunker Boy and President Bone Spurs, and that's why he tried unsuccessfully to block the truthful accounts of his idiocy by Bolton, Mary Trump and Cohen. It must be bloody awful being as big a coward as Trump and living in constant fear of having his numerous faults exposed.

He doesn’t need to win the election he will successfully postpone it waist of time going through the motions, he would win anyway.
His buddy Putin is a great coach, look how successful he is at maintaining power.
I am glad I have been finally promoted to his number one defender.
Didnt know Purplem ranked so high in the US.

BTW what was JFK so famous for besides fucking Marilyn Monroe and making a laughing stock of the US with ordering the Bay of Pigs invasion which Castro defeated in 3 days.
Fucking Marilyn was probably his proudest moment, then again there were many before him and after.

Mary Trump and Bolton two nobody distributors of fake news that only CNN takes seriously.

Mmm ......still stuck on this 3 million votes, life’s a bitch right.

Having a dictator like Poutine as a friend is not really a benchmark.

As long as you play at the bottom of the belt, choose between Marylin Monroe, and Stormy Daniels, the choice is easy.

I don’t know apparently it sure came in handy at the last election to have Putin as a buddy or at least that is what the sore losers claim.

With Marilyn and Stormy I wouldn’t mind either, I think the acting would be comparable and the the years of experience also.

If I were offered a choice, I would probably prefer the younger one.

Amusingly, JFK with his views would today be to the right of most Republicans.

Republican leaders are now openly challenging Trump as if they finally realized that their duty is to the American people. But let’s get real, these corrupt enablers now see Trump as a sinking ship & are preparing their exit strategies.

Fortunately for them, the worst that can happen is losing their seats and becoming well-paid lobbyists. Trump, on the other hand, is in for a real shit storm if he loses the election. Democrats are finally going to be able to investigate him thorougly including his financial records & likely to find out why Trump is so beholden to Putin.

Trump is literally in a battle for his life, it’s either win the election or retirement in a SuperMax prison cell. So expect more over-the-top political stunts. Won’t be surprised if we end up in an armed conflict w/ China or Iran before Election Day.

Hope u’re right that Trump can be contained but historically, US Presidents have had huge leeway in taking military action so long as they don’t declare war. Even the Supreme Court has been reluctant to challenge Presidents on foreign policy matters.

If Kelly & Mattis were still around, maybe ..... but Esper & Pompeo are simply not of the same calibre. In fact, Pompeo seems to be already laying the groundwork for a showdown with China.

Less than 100 days till the election & Trump can legally take military action for 60 days before needing approval from Congress.
