After watching the Yankees blitz the Indians, I watched around 30 seconds of the debate and was so negatively impressed that I turned it off. These 2 are definitely not the 2 best candidates, and our country deserves better than having to choose between one of these 2.

Actually the debate I was looking for was Trump vs Pelosi! That would have really been one for the history books!

I wonder if Pelosi would have ripped apart her dress and thrown it towards Trump! LOL!

I thought that Biden did a lot better than many had thought he would. But, instead of looking at the positives of their candidate (assuming you can vote for him) the left leaning news decided to focus on a comment or statement that was incorrectly reported.

Fake news alert, here is what was really said:

Trump, asked by moderator Chris Wallace at the debate Tuesday if he was willing to condemn White supremacy, said, "Sure, I'm willing to do that. But I would say almost everything I see is from the left-wing, not the right-wing. I am willing to do anything. I want to see peace.”

There’s no fake news. It’s being played over and over again. BBC, Fox, CNN it’s the same shit being played.

People saw that shit with their own eyes and all he had to do was say “I condemn the Proud Boys” he coulda even said “no idea who they are but if they are white nationalists/supreme then I condemn”

Even hitler said he condemned war and wanted peace, lol

Let's clarify this. When Trump was asked by moderator Chris Wallace at the debate Tuesday if he was willing to condemn White supremacy, he said, "Sure, I'm willing to do that. But I would say almost everything I see is from the left-wing, not the right-wing. I am willing to do anything. I want to see peace.”

The Proud Boys question came after he had already condemned white supremacy. It was obvious that Trump was confused or caught off guard by the question and he corrected it when he spoke to the press today which you could have watched over and over again on any of the news channels.

Trump had already condemned white supremacy and was then asked about the Proud Boys. He had already condemned white supremacy back in 2017 so the question had already been answered in 2017 as well as last night:

Just saw replay, my mistake, it was “stand back” not stand down, lol! “STAND BACK AND STAND BY”

He was lobbed a ball, he didn’t drop it mind you, but caught it, skillfully evaded defenders and ran it in for an own goal or into his own teams end zone??

Anywhoo, doubt any of that stand back, stand by mentality is gonna make any difference. People who support him know he’s a racist, they just don’t care or agree, whether openly or silently.

Your last paragraph really nails it, TNB!!!
Well stated.

Wow, that’s utterly silly Waterloo. All of it, lol. This shit has been on TV over and over again, this segment. That question. No way to hide, just like Biden packin’ the court and refusing to answer question about it. Trumps shit was on another level

What is utterly silly is that people still believe what they see on TV, even if its on over and over again. In any event, I thought the debate was a waste of time. The moderator needed to keep shit in order and by not doing so it was a free for all. Biden impressed me though, I don't get to see him as often as the president on TV and I was expecting him to be a bumbling idiot, which he was not.

I am amazed that anyone would believe that the riots were the result of right wing protesters. That is just amazing to me. You have to be living in another country to believe this for a second. And what’s a white supremacist? Any white guy that’s defending his store and not tearing down a statue?

The scenario has become almost routine. Donald Trump is making a statement or gesture that is controversial or laughed at. Shortly thereafter, one or two advertisements appeared on social media or on television, attempting to exploit the blunder or scandal. Important detail: their creators are not Democrats, but Republicans.

This scenario repeated itself on Saturday. The previous evening, Donald Trump had commuted the sentence of Roger Stone, his old friend and political adviser, who had been sentenced to 40 months in prison for lying in Congress and tampering with a witness in the Russian investigation.

A group called Republican Voters Against Trump first posted an ad on Twitter titled "Trump's Banana Republic" which opened with the words: "In Trump's America, a criminal who lies to protect Trump is released. The Lincoln Project, another Republican group, followed up with an ad accusing the White House tenant of running a "criminal enterprise" and of being "the most corrupt president in US history."

American politics have never seen anything like it. And the phenomenon is expected to gain momentum. At least two other groups created by Republicans - 43 Alumni for Biden and Right Side PAC - also promise to run ads aimed at convincing voters of Donald Trump to fire him next November.

There are actually two distinct groups who have little if anything to do with each other - the peaceful protestors and the looters/vandals. Ann Coulter and Fox News conflate them.
