^^^^Agreed. With the majority in the senate and a republican in the White House Trump will most likely get another conservative Supreme Court justice confirmed.

Garland turns 68 in 2020. Unlikely Biden nominates him even if it would "right a wrong".

President Donald Trump refused Wednesday to commit to a peaceful transition of power if he loses the 2020 election to Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

“Well, we’ll have to see what happens. You know that. I’ve been complaining very strongly about the ballots. And the ballots are a disaster,” Trump said at a news conference at the White House. It appeared Trump was referring to mail-in ballots, which he has repeatedly condemned, without evidence, as susceptible to massive fraud.

The president had been asked by a reporter if he would commit to a peaceful transfer of power, “win, lose or draw.”

When the reporter noted that “people are rioting,” Trump replied: “Get rid of the ballots, and you’ll have a very – you’ll have a very peaceful – there won’t be a transfer, frankly, there’ll be a continuation.”

^^^^A lot of that is taken out of context. But, the president is right that there will be problems if we have mass mail in ballots. If people want to cast their absentee vote let them do it, mass mailing of ballots is a disaster. Think of the last time you were in the post office.

What’s the difference between absentee vs mail in? Don’t both go through mail?

^^^^Good question. Absentee ballot is one that you request to be sent to you. Mail in is a mass mailing sent to everyone. So if I’m concerned about the pandemic I can request an absentee ballot to be sent to me so my vote counts because if not for my health concerns I would have voted in person. I request it and it is sent directly to me. Much less chance for fraud. A mail in ballot is one that you complete because it came to you in the mail unannounced. Problem with this form of voting is that since your not requesting it there’s no real way to confirm that you are the one completing it. People who want to disrupt the election can illegally gather up this mail or a family member can fill it out instead of you, etc. much greater chance for fraud as well as many people may have moved, died, etc. but they’re still getting junk mail sent to them.

Here‘s an example that just came up:

I can say I’m Saul’s Nutz and request an absentee ballot because I’m scared silly of getting covid and check his mail and steal the absentee ballot and mail it in? For Biden.

This hypothetical bullshit can go either way.

Call it absentee, or mail in. Same shit as far as I’m concerned.

Trump no doubt is trying to hold on to power, lol. Whatever outcome, you may see the 1st lady USA president. Cause no matter where djt decides to squat with his family, Jan 20 if no resolution, Nancy pelosi is acting president.

So, why won't you try doing that? As it is not too much time left, you may want to start practicing his signature on the voter registration rolls. Assuming, of course, he is registered to vote in (at least) one of the states.

Jan 20 if no resolution, Nancy pelosi is acting president.

Not for long though. If there is no resolution by January 20th (say, both candidates receive 269 electoral votes), the newly elected speaker indeed becomes acting president and then the election is decided by a vote in the House of Representatives. Not a majority one, but by states, meaning each state gets one vote. In this scenario, most likely Trump will get right back in the White House.

In any case, thank you for your insights. Nothing beats hearing it from an expert.

Do it your way it takes forever. Or the easier way would be to steal thousands of votes at a time and send them in. Big difference. Not even close to being the same.

Around the corner
No he just remembers things that never happened
There is a difference Joe remembers a lot of things that never happened.
He may have memory lapses too, but I am sure there are at least 20 flunkies always around to remind him of what his name is.
