President Donald Trump dance to YMCA at the end of his first rally since contracting COVID-19.

Village People doesn't want him to use any of their compositions.

Tump doesn't care. He respects absolutely nothing.

What is copyright?

Not even close to being the full truth. Back in February Victor Willis (copyright holder since co-writer Jacques Morali died) authorized permissive use of the song by Trump:

"Back in February, Willis wrote that even though fans had contacted the group to demand they ask Trump to stop using “Y.M.C.A.” and “Macho Man,” Willis refrained from doing so because “our music is not being used for a specific endorsement.” He continued, “[Trump] has remained respectful in his use of our songs and has not crossed the line; if he or any other candidate were to use any of our songs in a manner that would suggest our endorsement, or in a promotional advertisement, that would cross the line. Like millions of Village People fans worldwide, the President and his supporters have shown a genuine like for our music. Our music is all-inclusive and certainly everyone is entitled to do the YMCA dance, regardless of their political affiliation. Having said that, we certainly don’t endorse his use as we’d prefer our music be kept out of politics.”

However, this was a hypocritical fuckup and Victor's about face on the issue is likely too late to stop it for the following reasons:

1. HYPOCRISY AND LEGAL FUCKUP #1

His legal advisors would have told him to immediately issue a C&D letter like Bruce Springsteen did when Reagan used Born in the USA on his campaign in 1984. Victor did not. The reason why he did not is that his financial advisers told him Trump was bringing his music to a new generation of Republicans who otherwise would never be listening to a disco song that was released in 1978 and this was BIG MONEY for free- money for nothing with Trump being an unpaid free advertiser. Simultaneously, Trump's lawyers told him that Victor fucked up by not issuing the C&D letter and as long as you dance to the song, he cannot now claim you violated the permissive use which was to NOT USE THE SONG AS ENDORSEMENT. And you are not using the song for endorsement- you are using it to dance!!!!! And Victor said everyone is entitled to dance to the song!!!!!!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. HYPOCRISY AND LEGAL FUCKUP#2

Meanwhile Sene, what do you think happened to all the money Victor made with the sales of "YMCA" to the younger generation of Republicans who bought the album because of Trump, and now dance to it in the privacy of their homes while watching Trump do the same? Do you think he donated the money to charity or to Democratic causes? Fuck no!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Straight into Victor's bank account, which was the whole point of the first hypocrisy. It's all about the money and never forget it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not a penny back!!!!!!!

Too late to ask Trump to stop now because he is not violating the permissive use he was given. He is using the song for dance purposes, not endorsement purposes. Victor is stuck. He can't do anything about it now!!!!!!!! And all you can do Sene is dance to the song with Trump! Get out on that floor, now! That's a 27 year old Victor wearing the cop uniform in the video, which was filmed on W.23rd Street in New York City in July 1978:

Thanks EB, to have me well informed.

This Victor Willis is really a hypocrite, and for him, money comes first.

Yes people can dance on YMCA, since it has decided that money is more important, than respect.

No, I will never dance to the music of a "asshole".

And dancing with Trump, never is a matter of principle.

I find this to be a bit harsh. Victor Willis's conflicting statements are somewhat hypocritical and he likely blew his legal chance to shut down the use of YMCA by Trump, but I think his instincts were to keep the band's music in the public domain for all to enjoy. And if the truth be told, music should not be for only Democrats, or only Republicans, or only candidates you like or approve of. Victor is a talented guy, and by the way he is not gay, as many surmise. He has been through several wives, including Felicia Rashad before Ahmad Rashad married her. But he is first and foremost a professional musician, and a professional musician should be in the business to make money, or he should get the fuck out. I see Willis as a guy who does what a good businessman does, which is "taking care of business", as your Canadian rock band Bachman Turner Overdrive sang so eloquently:

It's done. Ballot is in the mail. I voted for Dr. Jo Jorgensen for President. I split my ticket evenly between the Republican and Democrats on local candidates. I personally know very well both candidates running for State Senator, and I voted for the less moronic of the 2, the Democrat, who also has a lot more political experience than the Republican, who is a moron. I voted for the Republican running for State Rep. He is an attorney whom I know and have crossed paths with on client matters. I actually like him on a personal level, although he is piss fucking poor about returning calls, and if he wins I am going to tell him my vote deserves and warrants some swifter returned phone call respect, even if I don't like what he has to say when he call me back, or I am not voting for his ass next time.

My congressional vote went to the Republican candidate, although I suspect I could regret it, as she has a Trump like background, rich real estate developer spawned from the same. Although I find her to actually be somewhat hot in a MILFish way, and I would not kick her out of bed (not sure I would try to get her in, but if I was horny and she walked nude into my bedroom, I would NOT tell her to get the fuck out). My reasoning is taxes are just too high here, and businesses are leaving, and she is running on a lower taxes platform and hammering her opponent on it, which is just what she needs to do to unseat her.

Speaking of Libertarians, where is Bill Weld now ? I liked him. It would not surprise me if he joined the Lincoln Project...
And poor Gary Johnson, it seems he never recovered from the Aleppo blunder.

On Tuesday evening, Republican President Donald Trump published a tweet showing an altered photograph of Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden's head on the body of an elderly wheelchair user surrounded by other elderly wheelchair users. The image has the words "Biden for President" below with the letter "P" marked out so it reads, "resident."

Trump is 74 years old and the oldest person ever to have been elected U.S. president. Biden is 77 years old. Despite this, Trump has called himself a "perfect physical specimen and extremely young" while referring to Biden as "sleepy" and a "dumb guy" who "doesn't know where the hell he is."

As usual Trump is very disrespectful. I can't believe you can admire a man who is vulgar, not classy, and chooses himself instead of choosing Americans.

The crowd at Trump’s rally in Florida chant “CNN sucks” as Acosta is live on air.

Because of this kind of rally that yesterday in the US still 65,000 new cases, and almost 800 deaths.
