Am sure this will be interesting but as much as Trump would like to, he is not running against Hillary, he is running against Biden.

It's the democrats that continue to bring it up. And your right, he's running against Biden, I just wish the media and democrats would understand that.

Trump is a super-spreader, now 14 people around him have tested positive for COVID.

Maybe more, maybe less.

Now it's more clear.

President Donald Trump's decision on Tuesday to end negotiations over additional Covid-19 stimulus left investors and political strategists baffled. The uproar began after Trump wrote a series of tweets saying he'd directed his negotiators to abandon talks until after the election. Millions of Americans remain unemployed or furloughed as a direct result of the virus. The pace of job gains is slowing. A growing number of brokerages and economists are cutting their projections for fourth-quarter economic activity.

President Donald Trump said Tuesday he has told his administration’s negotiators to end coronavirus stimulus talks with Democrats until after the Nov. 3 election.

The declaration halts an ongoing push to send trillions of dollars more in relief to Americans as the outbreak rampages through the U.S. and the economy struggles to recover from virus-related shutdowns. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi spoke for an hour about a relief package on Monday and planned to talk about a possible agreement again Tuesday.

Trump, who has Covid-19 himself, had only three days ago urged the sides to complete a deal after taking no direct role in the talks for months.
“I have instructed my representatives to stop negotiating until after the election when, immediately after I win, we will pass a major Stimulus Bill that focuses on hardworking Americans and Small Business,” Trump tweeted Tuesday.

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi spoke for an hour about a relief package on Monday and planned to talk about a possible agreement again Tuesday.

The reason the president ended the negotiations is because Pelosi wanted all states to pay for the mismanagement of Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, NYC etc. to the tune of 436 billion dollars. Why should the other states that managed their protests and riots have to pay for the other states that did nothing to get the destruction under control? Pelosi also wants to pay $600 a Week for jobless benefits effectively taking people out of the workplace. The Republicans want $400. Unlike Canada, the US doesn’t want to pay people that kind of money to stay home. The final nail in the coffin was Pelosi wanted to allow people to vote without verifying who they are. currently you have to give them the last 4 digits of your social security number. Pelosi wants 15 days mandatory for early voting in every state. States manage themselves and have their own rules. Finally, she wants votes counted up to 10 days after the election. She wants this all to be federally mandated. She’s trying to move the goal posts during the game and she should just give the people that need money their money. Instead of trying to politicize points other than Covid.

It’s obvious that these things have nothing to do with the Covid stimulus bill. It’s about Nancy Pelosi trying to add shit to the bill for her own agenda.

Thats whyTrump shut it down.Pelosi is posturing all of this just in case Trump wins in November.

Thank you Gaby, here more details.

WASHINGTON — The second presidential debate between President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden, scheduled for Oct. 15, will be held virtually, the bipartisan Commission on Presidential Debates said Thursday.

Minutes after the announcement, however, Trump said he would not participate.

“No I’m not going to waste my time on a virtual debate,” he said during an interview on the Fox Business channel.
His campaign later said Trump will hold a rally that night instead.

Trump and his allies quickly claimed, without evidence, that the commission made the change to favor Biden. A Biden campaign source told NBC News that the debate commission made the decision unilaterally.

The commission’s decision came six days after Trump announced that he and first lady Melania Trump had tested positive for the coronavirus.
Since Trump’s diagnosis, more than a dozen White House officials have tested positive for Covid-19.

I'm disappointed I would have liked to see Trump.
His campaign later said Trump will hold a rally that night instead = final point

That is ridiculous, the whole fucking world is doing business remotely and he can't??????? I have not set foot in any Court since early March. All my business is remote now, and pretty much the whole country is working at home. This was a really, really dumb move.

The first or one of the first presidential debates was virtual. So I don't see the problem either. I would guess that the President feels that he is better at debating face to face.

Here is something I thought was interesting, the debate monitor for this is a former Biden intern. Steve Scully will have a much easier time being biased especially if it's virtual:

I hope it gets canceled so there are only two debates and the last one is town hall, where Trump will do poorly. If I was Biden I’d keep mumm for now. Let DJT’s lack of empathy and ability to connect with people be in full display and the lasting memory just a few days before Election Day

On another note, I sent in my request for an absentee ballot due to Covid and hope it's not too late to get one. I have a very difficult and painful decision to make. I don't like either of the presidential candidates and may consider a third party candidate, as I have frequently done in the past, or I could vote for Biden on a lesser of evils analysis although I hate that analysis when you dislike both candidates. It does not feel right to me. So I have not decided what I will do.
