I could actually see Biden, in an act of great compassion, pardoning Trump for any crimes committed while President, in order to move the country forward and not get bogged down in endless, wildly expensive investigations at taxpayer expense. As long as there is no quid pro quo with any important constituency group not to pardon Trump, I see a pardon as possibly being on the table. Biden can then campaign for re-election by saying the avoided cost of endless investigations to taxpayers would more than offset any tax increases borne by the average taxpayer. We cannot let people like Sene and these other Canadian posters, who do not pay US income tax, control what is done with our tax dollars.

That would be a disaster. Refusing to prosecute crimes by high officials has led to this kind of lawlessness. Everyone has learned that you can get away with it once you're in office. There needs to be some sense of accountability or the reaction will just be "do more crime next time".

Valcazar,

It's a very good point and there does seem to be a lot of lawlessness around politicians and much of it goes back to this quote and this attitude which still resonates today:

God bless Donald Trump - the most unappreciated President in history.

I like how this list started out almost factual and then just degenerated into conspiracy nonsense.

^^^^^ Do you really think that if Clinton was in power there would be different covid numbers ( for the better ), really?

Yes, obviously. It would still be VERY bad, but it wouldn't be this bad. Of course, the COVID relief would probably not have been passed because the GOP wouldn't want to "give her a win".

I haven't the time or inclination or energy to debunk all your assertions, but:

Thanks for doing some of the work.

^^^^ Trump banned Epstein from his resorts for trying to pick up one of the girls.

When he tried to pick up the daughter of an important member. No evidence he ever cared when Epstein was hitting on the underage staff.

Amazingly, good honest journalism can still be found in the U.S. The WSJ editor gives an excellent summation of the two candidates.

The WSJ editorial page isn't journalism.

Valcazar,

It's a very good point and there does seem to be a lot of lawlessness around politicians and much of it goes back to this quote and this attitude which still resonates today:

A quote which Trump and company agree with and have made as their argument.
What the GOP learned from the Nixon debacle is that if they had just stuck together they could have gotten through it.
They didn't even lose more than one election because of it.
They learned that lesson well.

Look behind you.
Floating around the web. I am thinking there are more working Americans than those wanting free stuff and accept being locked up.

“I think the margin is going to be so strong — it’s going to be a no-doubter,” he said. “Remember, Americans understand this. They understand this election. In the end, it’s about freedom. Right? Look at what we’ve been through the last several months with Democrat governors and Democrat mayors telling Americans they couldn’t go to church, couldn’t go to work, couldn’t go to school, couldn’t go to a loved one’s funeral, but it was fine to protest, riot and loot.”
“Now, we’ve got Governor Newsom saying you can’t even have Thanksgiving the way you want to have Thanksgiving,” Jordan added. “And we’ve got Joe Biden talking about the Biden dark winter and locking down our economy. Americans appreciate the freedom we enjoy as American citizens. That’s what’s going to drive into the polls and why the President is going to win big.”

For once you are right. A page isn't journalism. It is the product of the activity of journalism. Your strawman won't survive this crushing blow.

Its an opinion page.
Opinion pages are not held to the same standard.
That's perfectly fine, but most people don't consider it journalism.
Or, maybe you can decide it is, but it isn't reporting.

That is easy quotes from Sen and TNB, that he likes and puts his stamp of approval on everytime.
Nothing like accurate and consistent informative.
That's true Fradi. But let's be fair: I have also put a "like" on every single one of YOUR posts that I have agreed with.
