Due to the rail strike Quebec is running out of propane.

I believe the Alberta Premier is very concerned for us. He's gone so far as to propose a new technology to ensure our hospitals and farms receive the fuel they need. I think this new tech will be called "pipelines" ;-)

First I heard of this. This could be a good thing for the Canadians on here that fear global climate change. Can’t blame the West fir this Fradi ? As long as you have unions then you will always have strikes . Now if there where pipelines already in place all of this wouldn’t have mattered.

No. Propane is "compressed gaz" making it easier to transport to permanent storage tank. Only to be used when needed.

And I wouldn’t use the word sympathy because there doesn’t seem to be any . I see a lot of hatred coming from the West directed towards Quebec ( East) because of their green policies and of course for not supporting the oil industry ( pipelines) . The rest of Canada slowly but surely is realizing that CLEAN is not always efficient. All it takes is a union strike fir things to get messy. Now let’s see how fast this is going to get resolved. But I’m pretty sure if this would happen often many folks would rethink their ways STN

Back to the propane shortage. Looks like Ontario is on the ropes also.

Never knew propane was used so much, was surprised that my house in Drummondville is electric for all utilities, cheap also.
My son is not worried as both BBQ propane tanks are full and we use no propane.
