This is all according to plan.
Trump will retaliate, will hit a couple of targets, get to thump his chest show how he is protecting the US and the world against terrorism.
All great for his re-election campaign, all Americans get behind the President in times of crisis, so why not create one.
At least he picked a perfect target eliminating a mass murderer and terrorist, can’t be looked upon all that bad.
Apart from that the US will get a chance to get rid of some weapons, sell them to all countries who will scare their citizens into believing they are at risk.
They will get a chance to try out some of the new weapons they have been itching to use in real situations.
WWIII I don’t think so I don’t see any friends of Iran being that strong to take on even the US never mind it’s allies as well.
I won’t feel that comfortable though in flying into major US airports for a while or attending marathons in Boston.

Lets face it Iran has no allies (beside terrorist group that they financed in few unstable countries ). Maybe Irak but that won’t last (they fought each other all of the 80’s).

No, I don't. I remember him being impeached for lying about that BBBJ under oath. An extremely stupid political stunt, in my view, and Republicans duly paid for it.

I don't think that you will see another Nation building attempt. Those people are too busy killing each other in the name of Allah. This was a big naive mistake. I personally would like to see US strategic bombing and maybe some close air support and then let the Saudis and Israelis take care of this and we should get out of the entire region.

Ok the Iranien general was a high time criminal but he was not a “terrorist”. He was officially an Iranian general. So far killing by drones had been only used to kill well known terrorist. The pandore box could be now open for any hostile country to drone kill whoever they want.

Why did Bush or Obama did not do it by drone you think? They did not wanted to open the pandora box just like I wrote.
