I'm listening to really dark music and it's cathartic
Examples? Industrial, old school Goth, and dark rock/post punk were often my catharsis.
Industrial, old school goth, dark ambient, more recent cold wave stuff
Because I barely missed the recent Clan of Xymox show at the Belasco a few months ago, I almost flew out to MTL to see them at Cafe Campus earlier this month.
I shall keep that in mind for their next tour... can you book a SP for a Clan of Xymox date? lol
I saw them with the original members in the 80's at the 930 Club in Washington DC.
I wouldn't have mentioned it if it were anyone else...
True story: I used to work in a strip club as their house photographer. One day, I couldn't believe my ears when I hear a CoX song playing through the loudspeakers -- it really wasn't that kind of club. I scanned the club quickly trying to figure out who it was that requested the song, in fact, I had to ask the DJ. He pointed her out to me, and I immediately went over to compliment her for her taste. She looked at me with big eyes and said, "You're familiar with Clan of Xymox?!?" Needless to say we hit it off really well, and probably would have got in a lot of trouble together had we not been seeing someone at the time. She turned me onto a song which I may have mentioned in the Merb Song Thread: Walk This Earth Alone by Lauren Christy -- it's a very different sound for Lauren and a completely different sound to Clan of Xymox, but it has moody darkness that you may enjoy.
Spent the better part of my life looking for an external solution to an internal problem. Only needed a heartbeat to finally understand. Can’t even begin to begin to apologize for the damage I caused. Solace in the hope that it’s never too late to change towards the best version of oneself
There's a mushroom festival happening in Montreal next week and they are calling it the MMF, and I keep giggling like a child when I see an advertisement for it.
I bet they know. There is or there was a Caribbean restaurant named Bonne Bouffe Creole
Hahhaha they definitely know what they're doing. There's also one called Ti boeuf... which... well... if you speak creole you know what I mean haha
I am in awe. Just for this achievement I am ready to forgive all Mask’s current and future eccentrics. Beating single-handedly NASA and the rest of the earth’s space programs by a mile! And even more important, looking at the young crowd of enthusiastic Space X engineers gives me a lot of confidence in the country’s future. Live footage here:

With this attitude we would still be living in caves to the old age of 30ty. It seems that instead of pushing science and technology this man should be buying enormous yachts and private islands to earn your respect.
I always told my parents why the hell they brought me to this place that has 6 months winter from Australia.
I hate winter.
The 4 seasons here are 4 weeks of summer, winter, next winter and still winter.
So happy to go south for a couple of weeks to get some sun.
There is much more efficient way and serious technology to invest into than the entire space program smoke show. From day one, the space programs have been a pissing contest between super power nations more than anything else. Besides communication satellites, it hasn’t brought much to humanity but, yeah, it’s an effective patriotic propaganda machine.
