I miss the early 2010 years of Montreal where everything was so much cheaper, downtown Montreal was so much cleaner, no downtown road construction, HMV stores still existed and the Cineplex theaters were in way better condition.

I was at Mcleans pub today and gawked at the overinflated prices on it's menu. I remember in the early 2010s, it was way cheaper.
Hell, even in 2019.

Basically everything went to hell once Covid came and the city hasn't been the same since.
Cineplex in better condition? They are not that bad. At least the one I'm going to: Royalmount and The forum.

As for the inflation actually COVID kind of pause all of that, but it was at its peak right before. The inflation was real worldwide. Look back at all the worldwide news regarding the different movement protesting against harsher living conditions. I always thought that somehow COVID was God sent for all the governments who couldn't calm down those protests.
