Because you’re smoking hot?Today, someone told me that I look like a firefighter!
Now we know why Airbo wants to stand behind you and hold your Firehose...Today, someone told me that I look like a firefighter!
You planning on retiring soon? When I retire you’ll lose all the helpful threads
Lately, I've been thinking a lot about the future with AI, and drones and robots, and I'm really trying to figure out my next move... My workplace has already started leveraging AI, and my position is especially fragile. I am the only french speaking employee in my team, working remote for an American-based, globally présent company where the French volume is 1% of work... So as soon as they find themselves a good translation system, they won't need me...
Also because of the french part, I am limited to my growth in the company. Being that my position was grandfathered when they merged our QC operations, they won't hire anyone to replace me, so I have to ensure this 1% of french gets done, I can't get promoted to other positions....
So yeah, anyone hiring or know of awesome side hustles? LoL
You planning on retiring soon?
Yes it totally sucks and is a horrible position to be in but there is always another side to it.Man, that sucks. There should be some kind of law to protect people where like, a boss can't legally replace you with AI if you've been working at this company for x time lol
Company owners and shareholders are in it to make money not to please people it is not a charity they are running but a business.
I understand your worry and sure hope that doesn’t happen but I tend to be way more optimistic.Agreed, except AI will soon be able to do absolutely everything humans can do. Just for cheaper. So with that logic, everyone could be out of a job tomorrow, even the most skilled employee within the company. Why pay a very skilled employee when AI can do the same job for free and faster! Which is why I think there needs to be some protection somewhere. I don't want the majority of people to end up homeless because robots take over. Haha
Opportunities won't be limitless if companies start firing everyone who is a human being because human labor costs more than AI in the long runI think human beings are much more intelligent and resilient than most of us think.
Cancelling/rescheduling (then cancelling again lol) with a merb advertiser and then writing a review for someone else that you saw during the time frame you initially booked the other person is... certainly a choice.
It might come as a surprise to some but we can see your posting history, guys. You can't tell us "I have to cancel because I won't be coming to town or won't have time for an hour with you" but then turn around and write a review about a two hour booking on the same day with another girl and expect us to never notice lol
“My grandma just died”
That is kind of a valid reason with a reasonable time lapse of a couple of years, but still I wouldn’t give that as a reason to the SP, kind of awkward for everyone.Unrelated but one time, a client told me his wife had just died. The plot twist here is that this was the reason he was booking me, not cancelling.
A little awkward.
