I'm so glad to have gotten all the traveling out of my system in my 20s. Backpacking is so popular in Canada! Not so in the US. I never met a single American backpacker. But on my travels, I would say 1/3 of the people I met were Canadian, 1/3 German, and 1/3 Aussie/Kiwi.
