That's fine, it's not dehumanizing in the same way "female" (or male) is in my opinion. Human is another word for "person", female could mean anything including bugs and plants lol

I'm so glad to have gotten all the traveling out of my system in my 20s. Backpacking is so popular in Canada! Not so in the US. I never met a single American backpacker. But on my travels, I would say 1/3 of the people I met were Canadian, 1/3 German, and 1/3 Aussie/Kiwi.

I learned that so many Canadians take a gap year to backpack, that is common right? Although most of the people I met weren't from Quebec
