Just a reminder:
2) Forbidden Activities:
i) Booking rendez-vous with service providers in the public sections.
ii) Posting personal information of ANY kind about ANYONE.
iii) Personal attacks on others, flames, fights, name-calling, etc...
iv) Lack of respect to either client, escort or other board members.
v) Posting false or otherwise unverified information with the intent to either damage the reputation or otherwise of a service provider or agency or, to gain favor of a service provider or agency.
vi) Using multiple handles. Only one handle per member. Members using multiple handles and/or obvious shills WILL BE EXPOSED to the world.
vii) Posting bullshit on the board, making useless comments, and/or misleading people.
viii) Disclosing private communications. PMs or emails are to remain PRIVATE between the 2 parties, and not disclosed without the consent of the sender. PMs may be forwarded and disclosed to Moderators if they contain anything offensive or require the attention of Moderators.
ix) For a service provider member, to include any contact and/or service information as part of your profile which are weblinks, email information, telephone numbers, a description/list of services, obvious name that is searchable online or any other information deemed as promotional. This does not apply to non-providers or Advertising Members.
x) In order to eradicate shills and trolls as efficiently as possible, any member found to be using any technique to conceal or deceive moderators from tracing their posts may be suspended, in some cases after an initial warning.
xi) Posting links to Leolists or similar website advertisements of non advertisers, posting contact information of non advertising providers, or links to their web sites, in a 411 post will result in a 2 weeks suspension for a first offense. Repeated offenses will result in a longer ban. Such links are only permitted when posted in the context of a review.
xii) Posting unverified or otherwise unfounded accusations of shilling against another member. When a member suspect another member of shilling, he/she should contact one of the moderators and advise him/her of the situation. Unfounded accusations in public by members only contribute to scare-off new members from posting reviews. Posting such accusations will result in a 2 day suspension for a first offense. Repeated offenses will result in a longer ban.
xiii) Posting in the advertiser section of MERB when you are not an advertiser, or an advertiser posting advertisements outside of the advertising section, will result in the post being removed and a one week suspension of posting privileges.
xiv) The promotion or publicizing of any provider who offers BBFS is forbidden. This is a practice which not only is dangerous for yourself but for everyone in the hobby community. Advertising such a practice or promoting it in the context of a review is grounds for an immediate and permanent suspension of your account.
xv) Harassment of another member using the PM function is strictly forbidden. If you cannot post it on the board because it will break MERB rules regarding respectful posting, do not send it by PM either. MERB rules regarding respect apply to PM communications also. If a complaint is received, it will be acted on and it will result in a suspension. Repeat behavior may lead to a permanent suspension from MERB.
xvi) While MERB moderators and administrators are open to discussions on the rules and procedures used on MERB, moderators and administrators have the last word on the making and application of any rule or procedure. Those who don't agree with this are not forced to stay as members of our community and can leave at will.
vi) Refrain from asking questions, on New, Un-reviewed and Non-advertising Agencies, SPs, or MPs, as well as posting website links, addresses, telephone numbers, or any contact information on the aforementioned. Do your homework ("Search Function" above). This is a review board, and reviews should come first. We do not welcome shilling attempts.
viii) When starting "Best Of" threads or public polls on various subjects, the thread starter should include their opinion or vote before expecting anyone else to contribute. Expecting others to get the ball rolling on a thread you started is just lazy.
ix) When quoting a very long post in any thread, please do your best to edit it down to a manageable length. Many times, quotes take up more space than the actual reply. Not only does this create board clutter, but you will lose the interest of the reader before he even gets to your reply. When quoting a post directly above your reply, it is sufficient to include only the first line or two as to indicate exactly who you are replying to. This is useful in cases when another post is made while you are composing your own and places your own post out of sequence.
x) In regards to Massage parlors: Do not ask which girl or what salon offers extras such as BJ or DATY or FS or include such details in a massage review. It is illegal to provide such services in massage establishments and discretion is required in order to avoid causing problems for salons and the girls. Try and read between the lines. For more detailed information you should send a PM to the poster and ask him to reply via PM.
3) Courtesy
i) All posters are expected to show the utmost respect and courtesy in all communications. Refrain from name calling, unjustified accusations etc.
ii) Having a difference of opinions is natural, healthy and can lead to positive conclusions. Exchanges of this nature are permitted and encouraged just as long as they are done so intelligently. Please conduct yourself accordingly.
We have been tolerating many posts from many members where these rules borderline broken. Everything I highlighted in bold will no longer be tolerated. No if buts nothing even close. The latest posts of sarcasm are very irritating and will no longer be tolerated. This is a review board, please lets get back to that. One last reminder:
While MERB moderators and administrators are open to discussions on the rules and procedures used on MERB, moderators and administrators have the last word on the making and application of any rule or procedure. Those who don't agree with this are not forced to stay as members of our community and can leave at will.
People who feel the need to challenge moderators and/or administrators each time they break a rule and are reprimanded are not welcome on MERB: rules applies to all members, no customization possible.
Have a good day!
