Having been living in trendy Griffintown for the last little while, I decided to try a neighborhood place (twice) in the last 6 months or so.
First i went with a amazing young lady after a night of planning for her party and the first thing i noticed was what a big resto this is in the building adjacent to the Alt hotel. It is tucked away upstairs and is very big and hip with a great vibe of music and chic surroundings and like i mentioned it is spacious, very nice looking place.
My friend had penne with rose sauce and she said it was very good. I had the Tagliatelle AI Funghi Selvaggi and it was fantastico!

The second trip i wanted to try their specialty pizza's they are supposed to be famous for but lets be real, finding amazing pizza in Montreal is hard to do, and the search continues because while it was good, it was nothing like great pizza should be, especially for $19 to what is basically a little bigger than a normal personal size pizza. BUT and this is a huge BUT, the Gnocchi Poutine was out of this world delicious! For $13 you sure do not get much but it was heavenly to say the least.

The place is very hiip just like trendy Griffintown and is a perfect place for cocktails with friends after work and good Italian food and appetizers. Be prepared to spend $200 plus for two with salad, apps, main course and a decent bottle of wine.
Would i repeat? No for the pizza, Yes for the gnocchi poutine and pasta and for the hip vibes for drinks with friends or for a nice date.
Enjoy
