Iru Izakaya on Jeanne Mance, across complexe Desjardins is also VERY GOOD. I highly recommend it. RSVP is a must though.

I always find seats!

But yes it's a nice place especially the cocktails

This place looks excellent. I will be staying near complex dejardins next month, any other food recommendations nearby or trendy bars to entertain a lady in the near vicinity? (First time in Montreal)

Next door of Iru you can try the Italian "Il Teatro - Montréal"
In the Complexe there is the "Restaurant Bivouac". If you are coming next month they have a nice outdoor glass igloo where you can eat from there
