It's sad to see what's going on in Ukraine.

As a Canadian, I'm mad that Canada is not doing anything about it.

Trudeau can condemn Russia all he wants and throw as many as sanctions as he wants but sanctions & condemnations don't stop bullets and tanks!

It's heartbreaking to see innocent people get killed for no reason. Not to mention, a few orphanages were apparently blown up and for what reason? That wasn't necessary.

Putin not only targetting military installations but orphanages! Wtf!

Trudeau, Biden and all these western leaders talk about freedoms and democracy but when it's time to actually back up that talk, they don't do it.

Russia will not invade Poland, neither any others, just wants to take back Ukraine. That's all. Trust me. it doesn't want NATO get closer and closer to its backyard. It will cause a threat.
CBC reporters repeatedly saying the West did not listen to Putin's demand: do not let Ukraine joint NATO. The West can not promise, Joe Biden can not promise; so better invade now, rather then later, because if one day Ukraine joints NATO, then all the countries will get involved.

In regard to NATO, I'm not so sure about its willingness to confront Putin. I would even not being surprised that they would not even move a finger in the case of an invasion of the Baltic states. No matter NATO Article 5. Government of those small states must shit in their pants right now.

I`m no fan of Trudeau and have never voted for him.....but wtf do you want Canada to do besides what its already doing ? Start WWIII by sending troops ?
Canada has sent tens of millions in humanitarian and military aid including lethal weapons. It is prioritizing Ukrainian refugees. Canada is there like it`s been for over a hundred years supporting England and the USA with blood and guts. Russia has 10 times the military might of Ukraine with nuclear weapons to back up their conventional weapons. As I said you can`t attack them without risking wiping out most of humanity.
Who knows how far Putin will go to feed his psychotic ego.

I don't like the idea of people feeling good about themselves by giving humanitarian aid to address damage after they stood and watched the damage being inflicted without raising a finger. I read Cloudsurf's post above and almost vomited my dinner. What Cloudsurf is basically saying is it is OK to watch the schoolyard bully beat the small weak kid to a pulp, breaking his cheekbones, hands and shattering his kneecaps with a baseball bat. However as long as you offer first aid to the kid, apply some gauze and band aids to the wounds, you can feel good about yourself, and beat your chest as a wonderful humanitarian. It's amazing to me what pacifist weaklings we have become. This thinking is so wrongful. He has been encouraged to do so. Neville Chamberlain made the exact same comment about Hitler invading Poland in 1938. It's appalling that nobody ever sees history repeat itself before it does.
