Should I be concerned about Client Lists?

Hey gentleman & Ladies. I was reading this post about Client Lists that most agencies have on record.

If I use agencies, should I be concerned that if the agency gets busted I could get in trouble because I’m on a list? This is something I never really thought of until recently, and now I’m really concerned about this idea that I may be on a few lists.

I do know there is lists like these cause a few times I have received
the offer to buy a list when an agency was closing.

Personally, we (SD & MSC) prefer to not have any to avoid any kind
of pressure or else by using such informations.

Many times clients are saying that we should know by now but then
we explain that cause we don't have such list, each time they will
book they will have to give the same informations over and over.

It also avoid making unwanted mistake like change of phone number,
change of location or like some, making groups replies (concerning
the e-mails) and giving everyones name and e-mail adresses.

Better to make it liberal and do personalized business.

:)

You should never give out your personal information to anyone...agency, independents. If you want to be even safer, don't see anyone at your home either, use hotels.

What are you afraid of exactly?

What you do in private is nobody's business.

If you're afraid of the law.......only your actions can condemn you and not a list.Who knows what you did in private?

We're not in the U.S.

If your afraid that somehow your wife will find out about your "activities",well I guess your concerns make sense.

As a newbie.... I would be interested to know what is the standard protocol here. Most websites I see indicate that withholding your personal info is a show stopper. My discomfort with sharing this info with each lady who catches my attention, is limiting my activity.
How do you maintain your privacy, participate in the hobby, and satisfy the SP's needs as indicated by the quotes below?

From My French Muse: For security reasons, your companion will ask for a valid photo identification, such as a passport
or driver's license. Please make sure the name you provide us matches the name as it appears on your personal id

From a popular montreal Indy: For a first rendez-vous, to ensure my safety, you will need to send me via email, without any exceptions, your full name and a verifiable phone number. Once we meet, I will be asking you for*a valid piece of identification with a picture. If the name you*sent me via email does not correspond with your identification, you will be forfeiting the full amount of the donation and I will immediately leave.

From another montreal HDL: I may need additional information from you to confirm your identity. If you are a new client I will need to undertake a security check for my safety. If you are not comfortable with revealing your true identity, then I am not the girl for you

Forget about those indies.Call an agency, you'll need a phone number which will be confirmed and and adress(hotel or residence).

I don't think anyone would refuse you if you can give another escort as a reference. To use a reference, another escort only has to be familiar with your email address, not your real name. So, if you want to see indies, start by seeing one who doesn't have a note like that, be a super nice client, and give her as a reference. For sure then an indie with a note like that will be willing to see you.

Booking more hours and writing a respectful invitation, almost like you
were asking a girl on a normal date, is always also a way to get noticed.
Even the girls with notes like that might accept you with no referral or real name.

WRONG - Tried it - didn't work
gave the reference - reference was checked - advised that references do not replace the other requirements
Denied request was for a 5 hour dinner date in Old Montreal. I gave it all the charm I had - didn't work.

I am not whining.... I m just trying to learn the rules of the game.

To be honest - I screwed up because I spent so much time ogling at the sexy pictures and not enough time reading the fine print... so after last minute failed negotiations I spent a night in my hotel all alone because I didn't bring the proper documents.

So it just surprised me when someone in this thread said to never give out your personal info.

and I thought curling was confusing

I'm pretty sure most would never give such personal information as their driver's license to any sp.

If only I knew...
Indies need to protect themselves by asking more info because often, they don't even have a driver backing them up. The idea of using another escort as a reference is a good one.

The ladies can ask as many info as they want before meeting a customer, it's no problem. There's a clientele who will accept it and that's ok. For these who don't want to provide personal info, like myself, there's 100 times enough of the other ladies to keep me busy.

In Canada, seeing escorts is totally legal so, no worries about cops getting a hold of any info on you. What is more worrysome is "other peoples" getting hold of our personal info and them use this for blackmail. Not all agencies are run by unsavory peoples but they are certainly not all run by choir boys either... Or worst, a reputable agency run by reputable peoples but keeping info on customers and, this agency have it's ownership "transferred" to a less reputable owner by one way or another... Or the list get stolen by disgruntled employee...

Personally, they get my hotel room and first name, nothing more. I never had an agency refusing to send a girl up to now and, they never had any problems calling me back either.

I would just like to note... In order for an indy to confirm her call, we have to call you back at the hotel room, by the room number given to us... Lets say you are at a higher end hotel (W, Queen E, Hilton, etc...) We have to have at least the last name of the customer to be transferred. ie. "May I have Mr. Bing in room 110 please?" you get transferred... "May I have Joey in room 110" they ask you for the last name of the customer before transferring the call.

Therefore, I say give your last name when at a nice hotel, and room number.. thats all that is needed to confirm.

When at a cheap hotel, room number only works.

When at home, Phone number with an address that can be verified on Canada411.

I do understand the girls asking for photo ID though, if someone is going to hurt me, I am damned sure they will not be showing me their drivers license before they do the deed...

But Tracy,if someone has bad intentions it is easy to get a fake ID.I don't think the ID would stop anyone from wrongdoing.

On the other hand some good men might not want to give away their exact birthdate, real adress, last name,etc..for a multitude of reasons.

And that is extremely understandable... We don't give our real names and I am not insulted when a client gives me a fake name.

I do believe that clients much to worry about in that stance because you never know what type of girl will be showing up, as we never know what type of guy is waiting for us.

There are as many messed up girls as there are messed up guys, just maybe not in the same way...

What is important is that the girl be able to confirm that the call is a real call, and that someone knows exactly where the girl is going (Driver, friend, answering machine at home... what ever.) No this does not require a drivers license.

Interesting.... this brings many more questions to mind.
I think I had better start a new thread rather than hijack this original topic

I totally agree with you.As for me,I might be not as careful as I should about my identity(phone number, adress, email adress, real name) but I figure I don't really have much to lose and nobody to hide from.I do understand the reason why most men would want to hide their identity and of course I'd never show or send a copy of my driver's license or anything similar.
