Sofitel Suites SP Friendly?

I just got a great rate on a suite at the sofitel, but I wanted to make sure they are sp friendly. I did some research and it seems like they don't have an elevator keycard, but I know some suites can require a key if they are on executive floors. There also seems to be very little info in general about the sofitel. Just wondering if you guys would recommend it.

No confirmation about whether or not you need a key to access elevators? The only posts I've found say no, but they are all over a year old. I'm going to book tonight so some help would be appreciated.

a little late to be worrying whether they are SP-friendly or not.

Also, I don't consider having to use a key-card anti-SP... it takes little effort to meet them in the lobby (or outside depending on the weather). I've stayed at the Vogue many times, and met the girls on the 2nd floor, and it made the intro & the ride up in the elevator that much more interesting!

a quick phone call, or email, to the hotel would get you a direct answer since the info doesn't appear to be here on MERB

I've stayed at the Sofitel many times in the past & have never had to use an elevator card in order to use the elevator. An sp had even nicknamed me 'Monsieur Sofitel' since i was always staying there when i'd see her. Total coincidence.
