It's been said but yeah trains that go faster than cars.
Roads without big holes
More or less reliable electrical infrastructures
More than 3 1/2 lines of subway
Waiters in French café can be very nice depending on where you go :)

That being said, life is better here for many reasons.

Cheap flights like in Europe.
A flight from Rome to Budapest costs $49 CDN.

A flight from Montreal to West Palm Beach $600.

Cheap transportation.
All transportation for seniors over 65 in Budapest is free and a monthly pass for ordinary citizens all buses trams metro is $32CDn within city limits.

Pastry and coffee shop on every corner just about.

Not anymore it isn’t.
If I didn’t have my children and grandchildren here I would move next week to either Budapest or Vienna and be in Central Europe.
Life is much more fun, you can see several countries within hours, Europe is alive with food, music, things to see and do everyday there are music festivals, food festivals, concerts. The architecture is amazing each country has its own style and culture. You can travel everywhere with an EU member passport.

In Hong Kong, due to the small size of the city, phone network coverage is quite impressive. Even like in the subway except when you are in huge station with literally thousands of people and it get congested.

I found that here my phone network is so crappy when I'm in the subway

In Japan, train and subway punctuality is paramount. Even if you use Google maps it can indicate accurately the next train. And if there are any delays

You got a good point. But you just have to go for 6 months, do it all, than enjoy life here.

You're right, grass alaways seems greener and it's usually not, but it's a different grass :)
I was born and lived the 1st 40 years of my life in Europe and about 15ish in Montreal.
I know what i miss from France and what i appreciate in Canada, and, for the time being life is better here.
Will i change my mind when i retire? maybe, probably, i don't know; maybe i'll move somewhere else to find another type a grass.

High speed trains and cheap flights like in Asia. The flight prices are super costly.
The most important, we need adequately cheaper) priced travel

Its all about volume. For now, Canada doesnt have enough population to sustain low cost travelling, especialy when you consider the very long distance involved.

Traveling internationally is so cheap compared to what it was... You should be quite young to talk like that.
In fact it is cheaper going to Europe than traveling within Canada.

Ritter Sport. In all varieties. Last time I went to Germany I flew in and out of Frankfurt 10 days after they had a terrorist bomb go off. I packed a collapsible suitcase. The day before my return flight, I went to the Sparkasse and bought 20+ kilos of Ritter Sport. The Malinois at the security check-in alerted on my bag, and the heavily armed Polizei wouldn't believe that I had over 20 kilos of chocolate. They took the bag for "inspection". I told them not to let the dog eat any, and that they would be responsible for replacing anything they opened. They came back with my bag in about 10 mikes, and asked me, "Why do you have so much chocolate?" My reply: "Because I'm from [REDACTED] and we can't get anything like this."

It's a little better now, but I still can't get all of the varieties.... Don't even think of touching my chocolate!

I'd like ground zero mongering locales and social monger dating like in latin america and asia, better roads, and although many have been saying better trains here I feel like Montreal is developing locally, if slowly. I'd like to see better intercity train services though. From a local standpoint transportation wise what I'd like is not trains or buses but the Teleferico, like in La Paz. Hands down and far and away the most pleasant municipal public transit system I've ever used. No traffic, no noise, no crowds, no waiting and fantastic views.
