SP name changes

I have always wondered why SP change names so often.
I can understand if they get a bad reputation whether deserved or not that they would want to change it.
I don’t get it when they have excellent reviews a solid reputation, and a firm client base.
Is it like needing a new dress or shoes or do they just hear a name and fall in love with it.
Perhaps some of the ladies can explain it.

I have wondered the same thing. I would have assumed that the only escorts who change names are ones who get a string of bad reviews. I guess the other possibility would be if the girl had an incident along the lines of a stalker.

That's a very good question, I have wondered the same thing. I can imagine several answers, but I don't think we can give a general answer for all these SPs.

Here on Merb, there have been examples. Again, the best answer would come from the SP themselves.

there are no good reasons
-Bad reviews are the number one reason
-family member or boyfriend found out,
-agency change and name was taken

-the good ones keep their names even when going indy, they even force another girl to change her name when changing agency.

I think of it like a business and it's done for marketing and rebranding purposes.

I changed my name often in my first few years as an escort because of my stalker (hello I see you, you're probably reading this). I tried to avoid him threatening me and booking fake dates but he found me pretty quickly every time. I made a name for myself now and have enough clients to be able to avoid him without changing name, thankfully. He also hasn't texted me in a few months, but he always comes back. It's been 4-5 year now lol...

So that's one reason we do it.

A lady I'm talking to also recently changed her name because her ex boyfriend found her profile and threatened to out her to her family. I also knew of a lady who had to change name and city for her safety after a client pulled a knife on her and she no longer felt safe working in that location with that same name.

There are many reasons, sometimes it's for safety, sometimes it's for branding/marketting

No. Plenty of sex workers do have a partner and that is a non-issue. Let's teach people how not to be fucking assholes instead of teaching sex workers that they're undeserving of love and relationships.

Their dreams and wishes are not any different than anybody else’s.
Yes they will probably have to work at the relationship a bit more than most, not many men can accept the fact that their girlfriend sleeps with other guys as a job.

Yes plenty of sex workers do have partners ....even husbands and for that matter wives. When there is honesty and the partner is aware and accepting of her other job then all is fine. When she keeps it a secret and he finds out then not so much. Many do manage to keep a secret though.
Other girls, I don`t know what percent, choose not to get into a relationship while working as an escort..

It's certain that sex workers deserve to be happy and to have an interesting life, because we agree that it's a job. This is a given, it's not the question.

That said, everyone has their own personality and their way of thinking.

All men like to meet beautiful young women regardless of whether they have a boyfriend. Ask his same men if their spouse was an escort? for them it would be very difficult to accept. I think both should put water in their wine.

I imagine plenty of possibilities for discussions that would never have happened if their girlfriends weren't escorts.

And I totally agree with you Fradi: "not many men can accept the fact that their girlfriend sleeps with other guys as a job", and like that day after day.

SPs change their names for all kinds of reasons. In the past I recall one whose pics were apparently recognized by a client who was a friend of her family, and he started asking questions she did not want asked. So she changed her name/pics/agency after that to remain incognito to him/other family. This kind of thing happens more than most people know.
