I usually don't do outcalls during the summer mostly because I don't have AC in my apartment.

But would it be bad etiquette if I did call for an SP in my 30 degree apartment?

Don't think it's a bad etiquette. I don't think a girl will refuse to go in if it's hot and humid but very clean.
But do you really want to have compagny if you both sweat after 2 minutes?

It's off topic, but how you can live at 30 without a AC?!!

How about using the shower?

I remember having really good time in the shower with some SP. Although, I've said some, not all.

I don't mind the heat, would much rather be too hot than too cold. But it would be nice to mention to the girl in advance so they can decide if they would be comfortable.

It goes without saying that the pre-date shower would be essential in this case. ;)

I hope TheDon doesn't take this too personally, because I think he is right and I appreciate his conflict. One of the most common pieces of advice that is said around here, but then ignored, is "Treat an SP, as you would like to be treated." There are reviews where incall locations are criticized for not having air-conditioning. So it stands to reason, that perhaps for some, but not all, SP's his location would probably be less than desirable. My criticism (and it is not aimed at TheDon) is that every day there's a post that basically says--"should we be considerate toward SPs?" Ummmm... yeah.

Unless there is a compelling reason why you don't have air-conditioning, why don't you install at least a window mounted air conditioner in your bedroom window to make your visitors more comfortable?

Around Montréal...
Maybe it will be better to rent a room...

...or to calculate what could cost less over the time of summer: an air conditioning in your apartment or to rent a room to receive your invitée.

ps: You are a tough cookie

I think as a courtesy you have an obligation to at least inform either the booker (if using an agency) or the SP directly (if an indy) of your situation when you call to make the appointment, so that they can decide beforehand if it will be a problem or not. My guess is that some will be OK with it, and some will not. But I think it would be best to be up front about it, instead of letting them show up at your apartment and then finding out you have a problem.

I think it depend a bit, i mean if the guys have a fan, then its not so bad... even with the AC i get sweaty sometimes if the session is good and energetic lol. Thats one of the reason the SP take a shower after, and i can always take one too once she leave. But its true these days air conditioner is kina like a computer, 15 years ago it was rare, expensive and not everybody had one... but today... at merely 150$ there is not much reason to not have one. Ours at home is kinda old and noisy, but do the job, but right before i got back here, at my sherbrooke appart there was none and i just had a fan... damn it was hot and it was only june... july was worst so i can't imagine my former roomates how hot it was for them...

Bah to me there is something about being sweaty that i find sexy... i mean, not sweaty from a game of hockey or an MMA training, but i mean getting into sex both clean and dry, but both give themself 100% and eventually we become a bit sweaty as time goes by... That mean the session was really awesome... Or maybe its just me that is a bit whack... dunno lol

Yeah, I know what you mean Mike. But even though the lady can take a shower afterwards, most can only shower from the neck down after a session and can't really shampoo their hair and such, and I wouldn't want to be the next guy to see her when her hair still smells sweaty.

well if they get that sweaty maybe yeah its a bit too much, but well if the guy is at home, he probably has a hair dryer and the girl can use it... just saying. Any way in the end its always her decision :)

I agree. I have a new fav. incall who said her a/c was out and it was 30 celcius. (Both of us were fresh) After a few seconds I honestly didn't care what the temp was.
