I took a tour of Olympic Stadium in Oct 2019 on a visit to Montreal. The stadium is a piece of garbage. As a kid watching Phillies games, I was mesmerized by Olympic Stadium and the pronunciation of the names of Expos players when the Phils played up north. Warren Cromartie comes to mind.

The tour was so underwhelming as was the stadium. The issues with the roof are legendary. The bands at Hurley’s and McKibbons are too good for that place, let alone Taylor Swift (whom I really don’t like).

I thinks the old Montreal forum was built in less than a year. The Empire State Building was constructed in lightning speed. I can’t for the life of me understand why they can’t repair a freaking roof up there. Sad.
