Finally Rybanika did it in 3 sets..... very fluid player....will have to keep an eye on her.....could play GAUFF next round...wow....interesting.

Serena won also in 2 sets....less fluid...lol....BUT still the fav, of the fans in TORONTO....et ils sont nombreux pour l'encourager.

...she finally lost.....not a high quality match...manque de constance de la part des 2 joueuses et au final SLOANE l'a emporté.....elle jouera SAKKARI next round.....devra se surpasser. ;)



Pas un retour facile pour LEYLAH....une victoire difficile vs une qualifiée---ranked 273......n'annonce rien de facile pour la suite MAIS au moins peut savourer une victoire devant les siens.:)

Et SHAPO pourra t-il en faire autant devant De Minaur.....j'en doute fort...lol...il a devant lui tout le contraire de lui.....un joueur straight, sérieux, calme et en contrôle....et surtout un joueur avec un plan de match , rigoureux et stucturé dans son jeu.;)

Oh.....breaking news.....SERENA announced today she will retire this year.....probablement après le U.S. OPEN.....on s'en doutait bien....le temps était venu pour une retraite dorée bien méritée.....elle qui a marqué l'histoire du tennis for ever.:)

I was at the 2 games at central court, the vibe was really good. So glad to see ppl and tennis back to montreal.
Medvedev vs Kyrgios could become a nice feature in the future.
