I did not see the whole match today, just caught the very end. Medvedev's behavior was not exactly dignified. It looked like he was back to his old tricks.

Oh sorry to hear that , I wasn’t aware since I wasn’t able to watch the match . Just read an interview from Nafal apologizing for being a bit too lucky or something like that . I really hope that he cleans his act because he is a great player

Nadal said he was feeling sorry for DANIIL and that he played better than him.....what a class act and that's why he is a true CHAMP -LEGEND...a real winner....je suis encore sous le choc de son comeback today.....just incredible.

Speaking of backhands, curiously enough, one-handers have a clear edge as of now. Thiem and Tsitsipas are both 2-0 and Federer is 1-1 with the only loss to Thiem. Will probably change tomorrow, as Federer is unlikely to beat Djokovic. But then who knows, anything can happen.

And he did it! Amazing performance by Federer today. Even if Djokovic was apparently a little hurt, still a huge victory. Federer wanted it badly, and this time he got it. Most impressive.

yep....the King was the King,,,,he was imperial,,,6-4, 6-3.......big win.....and to b honest i would not have bet on him today,,,,,my bad.

Tomorrow,,,,,,NADAL--TSITSI...in the morning...would go with NADAL.............MEDVEDEV----ZVEREV in the afternoon,,,,,would bet on DANIIL.........have fun--enjoy.

TOOOOO BAD,,,,NADAL will not play FEDERER tomorrow despite a big win today....he needed MEDVEDEV---who was playing for honour--to win BUT he lost in 2 sets.....am so sad....lol.

Anyway we will have great matchup tomorrow in demis TSITSI playing ROGER.......THIEM vs ZVEREV.......we should have great entertainment....enjoy.

Oh wow..none of the big 3 in the final tomorrow.....very very impressive win today by TSITSI in 2 sets.......the new talented gen. is in the house.....la relève--les jeunes marquent le pas et taillent leur place de plus en plus parmi les grands....and that's good for tennis.

Hope TSITSIPAS will play THIEM tomorrow.....we will know soon.......

THIEM just won in 2 sets...not the most exciting game BUT the important he will play TSITSI tomorrow....i like both, no real preference....but if i had to bet i would go with the GREEK.....

Well it seems like you got your wish gaby as it will be the battle of the one handed backhands tomorrow... Thiem vs Tsitsipas

No matter who wins I’ll be happy as I’m a big fan of both players

But I will also give the edge to the Greek as I’m of the opinion he is mentally the stronger player so it could be a two setter tmr
Had the opportunity to watch a couple of his matches in this tournament and I was impressed with how engaged, concentrated and focused he was , so he has leveled up his game lately

It was an exciting and tightly contested tennis match . They both played great and deserved the trophy but unfortunately there can only be one winner . So congratulations to Tsitsipas the new champion ( the only one to win both tour finals ) and as fir Dom I hope 2020 is the year he finally wins s big one because he deserves it ,,, a great player and an even greater sportsman.

Good luck to our Canadian players and especially Bianka who I hope stays healthy as I truly love to watch her compete .
And as gaby mentioned it’s finally starting to feel like the guard is slowly changing , and although this wasn’t a best of five ,,, eventually it’s going to happen that is inevitable and so 2020 i think is going to be the year the big three will truly be tested . It took longer than most anticipated but they are finally here

WOW.....DAVIS CUP---not very popular here BUT the most important event on world stage....and CANADA--in the new format--- will play in FINAL tomorrow.....just incredible... CANADA was ranked 14th to win ....

Big big credit to POSPISIL and SHAPOVALOV who carry all week long CANADA to the final....:yo::yo::yo: ......it will b historic day for our country.....in semis today in a very exciting match they won vs RUSSIA in tb 7-5 in third set....just wow....

They will probably play SPAIN and NADAL for the CHAMPIONSHIP tomorrow......go CANADA.

Great match-up....it strarts at 10h30 this morning......FÉLIX will make his début vs BAUTISTA-AGUT.......followed by NADAL--SHAPO......and the double....wow....what a day of great tennis..,,,we can't ask for more.....'historic day for CANADA.....enjoy.....go CANADA....

Well.....SPAIN at the top ,,,,WORLD CHAMPION OF TENNIS......:yo::yo::yo:....and CANADA is second...wow....:yo:......NADAL---who else---provides this big win with a win in 2 sets over SHAPO......BUT big credit to SHAPO who played a remarquable second set losing 9-7 in tb.

In DAVIS CUP since 2004 NADAL is 29-1 in singles...and since 2006 he never lost.....that says all about this incredible and magnifique talent......this week he is 8-0.....what a player !!!!

Kudos to SHAPO and POSPISIL for an incredible journey......CANADA will b a serious contender for many years to come......thanks guys.....BRAVO.
