I agree that tracking numbers can be done on a land line but I always thought it was not as simple with a cell line.
I, as many, would be very interested if you have any apps to suggest.

Here is a link you can consult as referred to by CLOUD 500 in post 9 ...
http://www.localcallingguide.com/lca_prefix.php

Just fill in the NPA + NXX and hit submit

There are limitations to tracking a number. As per the telecommunications act no one is allowed to track a number... If you call your service provider and ask for the number of a call you received that has a blocked number they will not give it to you but they have the number and the time the call was received. Also the account holder of that cell number is only available is the account holder choose to have it listed in the white pages otherwise you will find nothing. The link you posted DouMan is exactly the site I was referring to however that will only tell you which service provider the number originally belongs to so if someone has a Rogers number and ported out their number to Bell you will not know that it is with Bell. It does have its limitations but it is perfect to know if the number you have is a text app number and those are highly unlikely to be ported in fact I do not think they even can be... They probably are pooled into a reseller account.

It more simple then that.

Most of the time if a person does use "an apps for sms"
beside the common one, it says it at the bottom of the
message.

(This message was send with X or X apps) ;)

We have found that there is more reliability
problems of back and forth messages with
these then just simple basic uses.

Never had any technical problems with the
one that comes with the service provided
with the main phone package.

Just saying.

i always wondered if you can truly find the owner of a cell number. I sometimes worried I would get a crazy sp who wants to track me down for whatever reason. I have seen those sites where for a fee you can get info, but they want a credit card number, so never tried. I am starting to beleive the only way is with police.

So using your real number ads a little security for the provider, but she will need the police to actually track down the customer. Ultimately, text apps are probably trackable too, but just become complicated, because the maker of the app can be in any country

As I said we can know who the number belongs to. Maybe not your address but definitely your name and phone service provider. For free. So we can know who the owner is but not track him.

NOW. Some girls who have a website can know your location, some websites are built so that Everytime a guy fills the screening form to see a girl, she receives the form + the guys GPS location in her emails. I had a website for about a week and I was kind of shocked when I noticed that. I deleted my website because it wasn't useful for me and I don't really need that much info on someone. lol

Just be careful and make sure you see reputable ladies basically. No one is really 100% anonymous on internet. can also use a VPN at all times if you're really paranoid :p

With this Harper's Bill C-36 any escort can throw you to the wolves... The law puts the clients as the oppressors and exploiters. If she files a police report then the police will issue a court order to the service provider to give out your full name and address. With text apps I know one has to create an account using an email so it is possible to still track you it is just much more complicated. The info would be in the databases of the text apps.. BTW all those things you see on the internet to track an owner are all scams.

There is no possible way you can know this from any website. Mobile numbers are not published unless the account holder decided to list it in the white pages most often they do not. Service providers will never disclose that information unless ordered by the police. Post a link to that website where you claim to be able to get that information. The only thing you can get is the service provider.

So you're saying the countless times I got someone's name and it was confirmed it was his name isn't true ? You must be the internet god. I'm saying this because I've been there and done that, buddy.

EDIT : I did say in an earlier post that the name is only available if someone already registered it on the website. So sometimes its a fake name (my number says Julia Sky, for example). But 98% of the times I get a name it's a real one and the guy has no idea about the site, so it's another girl he trusted or a person he knows that registered his name.

Unless the user of that number posted or is advertising using their name with the number then yes it will show up just like an escort who posts ads using her name it will link the number. If not then nothing will show up. I repeat due to Telecommunication Privacy Law no service provider will ever disclose account information without the consent of the account holder. Those info is only available if the account holder decided to publish it in the white pages. You must be some internet Goddess since I been checking for what you claim to be able to do for many years. So do please show us how you do something then no one else here can.

No one else ? I was taught this by another girl and lots of girls do it.... I'm not a goddess you don't seem to understand what I'm saying, it's ok. The names available there are suggested by people who use the website.

Heck - even my real number says Lexie Diamond and I never published my real number anywhere. It's there because someone I trusted registered me back when I was Lexie. But I don't really care.

Instead of all this mystery "I can", "no you can't" why not just post a link to this site Julia?

Because every single one of you is going to run suggest a fake name or a prestigious merb handle (maybe even someone else's) to link to their number and ruin the purpose of the site...

It's not a mystery I just answered the main question. The answer is "yes we can". I don't really care at this point if someone doesn't believe me I'm still using the site it doesn't change my life at all.

ANYWAYS even on Facebook you can find someone's profile with a phone number. So we definitely can even without the site I'm referring to.

Visit site
I'm gonna go on a limb and guess you guys are talking about truecaller, hiya, or some similar service...

If that's the case, I'll be sure to never use a real number. They have been known to download all your contacts from your phone and from Gmail or Microsoft (if you're using their service).

Insecure for us clients as they have been breached before and not too sure we want to be blackmailed as they did with AshleyMadison...

Douman,

We know exactly why she will not post it and says she does not care because it does not exist. Having said that as I explained in my post is pretty much what Julia Sky wrote... Unless someone advertises, or designs a website or anything else on the web that has your phone number and the site has your name on it then it will show up other then that nothing else will show up. Even Facebook is an example of this but this method is unreliable as names are not censored... Anyone can put whatever name they want. Lexi Diamond sounds like a escort or pornstar alias name not a real name. Lol

Ok you need to understand a word I'm saying.

Lexie Diamond is my old escort name and my real number is listed as Lexie Diamond even though I never posted my real number anywhere and that's because THE WEBSITE'S USERS REGISTER THE NAMES. Nothing to do with phone service providers or white pages. Do you understand a thing. I'd be embarrassed at this point.

Seem to me like a porn wikileaks type of place. For exemple somebody could register my number (a booker from an agency i used, an indy etc) and link it to Halloween Mike. But since i gave my first name in most cases, and some peoples even got my last name, then my name could be link to my number too. I used to be reachable on facebook by my number as well before learning about it. I was once prank call too. I don't know if it was with malicious intents of blackmail me or if it was just a bad taste prank but someone as done it before.

So in that vein i guess i could be registered there.

But this is all manual stuff. So if i would get a new phone and never tell anyone im me, and only see ladies i never seen before, nobody could really know me and my new number are linked to one another.

Im not against a personal "approved list" by SPs for security purpose connecting handles with numbers etc, but the intent of that website seem malicious to me the way you talk about it.

Everytime a guy fills the screening form to see a girl, she receives the form + the guys GPS location in her emails

As for that im pretty sure it actually gives the location of your ISP. Because sometimes i go on websites and it pops me the ads "that woman is located near Montreal and want to fuck" or other crap like this. Sometimes its a pop up mentioning my ISP name but it always say Montreal as they are based there. It never actually even got close to my real town, not even the nearest biggest town (Sherbrooke)
