Lol I gotta let off some steam and bitch a little.

I dont live in Montreal and my area is quite rural. I contacted a well established SP for a DMTY (Drive me to you). We worked out an agreement and I paid her ON TIME as per our agreement. Not once had she had to remind me of any payment.

Now, she ended up cancelling for reasons and it's like pulling a tooth to get back my money. She had an incident and because of that she says it will take a while to give me the funds. We agreed, to July month end and she has only sent back half so far. And she keeps moving the repayment goalpost, even going so far as to state that I clearly need the money and her wondering if I was going to ask her back for the money if she had ended up seeing me. LMAO What????

While I sympathize with her situation, this is unacceptable. I do not know of any SP here who would see a client for free, with the promise of payment next month when things improve financially for them. Especially a new client. I am a guy who has zero issues paying a deposit but I fully understand people who hate it and dont do it. It should not be this annoying to get back YOUR OWN money.

Well she did repay back half of it. I assume she's being transparent about her delays.

Why didn't you plan a reschedule?

Once, there was a SP who might have needed some funds for a particular situation but it depended of a diagnostic. After hearing it, I sent her the money for our usual session. She asked me why all of a sudden sending it and she couldn't accept it. I told her what about it's an advanced payment for a future session. Problem solved.

I don't personally like the idea of being randomly sent money for a future session.

I've had a client do this before, I thought he wanted to help but then he said he wanted a bunch of services "in exchange" which I never agreed to offer to begin with. I didn't ask him for money either, just shared a situation I was experiencing.

I know other SP may see things differently.

I've recently sent a deposit to someone (not a SP lol) who had to reschedule. It wasn't an issue.. but it seems like the situation above is about a substantial amount of money. It sounds like a complicated and unfortunate situation for both parties.

There shouldnt be any delays, she canceled!

He lives out of town,, it adds a lot to the already difficulties of rescheduling. And, frankly, this mandatory rescheduling when the SP has to cancel is, in my eyes, a limit way to scam clients. She obviously spend money that she never earned.

Dude, the last anecdote is so relevant to how far you will go for the sake of maintaining your White Knight reputation!

For me, his ranting is just another layer of negative reasons not to send any money upfront, under any circumstances, to whoever.

Do you do anything besides marvelling at every word that any SP utters on this forum.
If someone does not perform what she was paid and accepted to do then it is reasonable and the honest thing to do to return that money, end of discussion.

It is only unfortunate for the guy who paid for something that was accepted and he did not receive.
Why try to spin a dishonest person. You do not spend something that you have not earned.
None of you have any trouble denouncing and calling a client a scumbag who cancels at the last minute and doesn’t pay cancellation charges but when the shoe is on the other foot it is a complicated situation lol.

Exactly, I fully agree with this.

Let me add more to the story then. When we initially booked, I told her that my area is RURAL, meaning NO ONE comes here. Hence the DMTY. She said she still accepts and will treat it as a sort of vacation. But she ended up postponing because she said no one is booking her for the dates she posted. I had to laugh to myself because I had already warned her of this. She wanted to push the meeting back by a month to try and meet summer clients and I accepted (this is why I dont usually inconvenience myself to help people). Then she still didnt get anyone because, again, my area is quite RURAL(which I pointed out from day 1!). So she fully cancelled and said she would send the money in two parts, 1 week apart. I was like ?????? But I said ok. Then her situation happened a few days later and here we are. And the half I got back, I have had to be on her neck to have gotten it back. And on her neck meaning I texted her once a week. I wasnt even texting her everyday. She has not honored the repayment agreement none at all.

I agree it's always "complicated" when the client is to get their money but not when the SP is to be paid. When I receive money from clients for a business I used to have, I would not touch that money until the client received their product. That is simple principle. Then having the audacity to question my intentions of wanting to meet in the 1st place, saying I am or commenting that I must need the money.

Still awaiting an SP to say she uses I.O.U.s, especially for new clients.

Is it just me or there seems to be a lot of complaining around in various threads? Might be the holiday season...

I figured it'd be nice to have an "all in" thread where people can just bitch about stuff while, hopefully, remain somewhat respectful.

I can start with a few points, some of which have been brought up elsewhere, by me and others:

1- GFE is not GFE anymore: I stated before that, now, you have to double check about the DFK and DATY parts before booking with an agency, but if the trend continues, you'll have to double check the BBBJ (or just plain BJ) part as well in 2024.
2- Physical ratings are inflated: I, personally, will refrain from rating SPs I see on their physical attributes. First of all, because "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", but mostly because most people seem to have lost their minds (or balls) when giving high grades. The only example I'll give is this:
- 10 means perfect, 10 means dream girl. 10 means unattainable. Maybe 5 SPs in Montreal are truly 10s.
- 5 means average, and there's quite a few floating around.
- In between, you'll find the GND types (6 & 7) and the hot / really hot ones (8 & 9)
By giving 10s left and right, you lose credibility by creating false expectations, hence disappointment.
3- The industrialization and dehumanization of sex work: The Incall business model implemented by XO and Euphoria is a financial success for them. Their girls get fully booked really fast. BUT... 90% of the sessions are 1h sessions with really short breaks in between. What do you think is going on? There's 0 intimacy, 0 romanticism and, in the end, pretty much 0 human connection. 18-22 yo spinners get pounded up to 5-6 times a day, day in day out, by a line up of guys eagerly waiting for their turn outside. I'm sorry but there's nothing appealing about this... quite the opposite when you really think about it.
4- Indy rates: I get it... you got expenses and you're worth it. What's funny though is that at this price (and, dare I say, age) range, your targeted audience is a lot smaller. And from what I see, there seems to be more and more competition in the Indy market. I'm pretty sure some (most?) of you find that times are somewhat difficult. 450+$ per hour? Add another 50$ for Outcall with a minimum booking of 1.5h? Really?
I could go on and on. I could talk about Screening, LeoList, false stats on agency websites, etc.

Agencies, Indies, Clients... everyone bears part of the blame. But that's the hobby we live in at the dawn of 2024.

Fortunately for me, I found my sweet spot. I should be fine.
There you go... I started it
Philippines,Thailand,Brazil maybe prices are driven up by americans and others who have deep pockets....Pre covid I dont remember prices in Euros one thing is for sure I'm paid in canadian dollars I wont start paying à massage in Euros or bitcoins !!!!!!

It's the most respectful way to do it. I'm a SP with chronic illnesses and sadly, I have to cancel a couple of times. But, I ALWAYS put the deposits in a specific bank account before the appointment so it stays there if I have to cancel and give it back. Like you said, simple principle. My policy is that if I'm the one being canceled on, I keep the money and if I'm the one who is canceling, they have it back as soon as they see the canceling message.
I'm someone who is really transparent so I take the time to explain what's happening and how my situation impacts me. Thankfully, everyone has been understanding and comprehensive yet. They get their money back instantly and they appreciate my transparency so they tend to book again, which I deeply appreciate.

Well if she agreed to come in the first place. There is no reason she would not want to come after her situation got solved.
And, frankly, this mandatory rescheduling when the SP has to cancel is, in my eyes, a limit way to scam clients.
Then you are just assuming that all the cancellations are not legit.
She obviously spend money that she never earned.
Well another wild assumption but well, we are not privy to the story so we can just randomly make lot of assumptions.
Dude, the last anecdote is so relevant to how far you will go for the sake of maintaining your White Knight reputation!
I don't really see the relationship between being a white knight and my story here ...

For me, his ranting is just another layer of negative reasons not to send any money upfront, under any circumstances, to whoever.
Well that's fine, that's your preference. I would be more interested to know your POV if OP story gets a good resolution and if you'll still be able to support your preference opportunistically.

I literally ask if they tried to reschedule their meeting. I don't even know the SP he's talking about.

I don't understand the sudden hatred and emotions here.

Let’s assume that he finally gets his money back.
You consider that a good solution after weeks or months of having to text and chase someone to get back what is rightfully yours and that you were scammed out of. I would never go near an SP like that again and I hope he has the brains not to also.
You wonder why people get pissed at White Knights lol.
Sp can be scumbags also. Except maybe in your world.

Agreed. Not sure what the point of vagueposting about a provider that screwed you over without naming them? Put it in their review thread. If it's a one-off, and everyone else has had flawless experiences them, then it probably won't affect her much and it might spurn action on her part to pay you back. If it's an on-going thing, and others have faced a similar situation with this provider, then you'll be saving other people from the same fate.

Reviews come in all shapes and sizes, even for
a well established SP

If you don’t know the SP he is talking about or were not privy to what happened then why is it that you don’t believe the Op, and insist on defending a person you don’t know or have no idea what happened.
