IMO not a big deal if you were already 17 and you were the one initiating it; I mean as long as you were not groomed by someone,

At 17, you’re not old enough to know the consequences and to know what’s good or bad. I would argue that you don’t know much more at 18 but you’re an adult and allowed to make life changing decisions

I don't want to start a debate but a minor cannot consent even if they initiate. I know a lot of ppl who started escorting as minors to escape abusive families... Some places still don't check ID. At least 2 massage parlors out of 3 I worked at didn't require one.

Also a lot of teenagers are told by "friends" that you can just be a sugar baby without having sex with men. One younger girl I met started escorting that way. She was recruited on a website like this and told she would be "sugaring by the hour". She thought she'd just chit chat with men in exchange for money. Upon arrival the boss "tried her" if you see what I mean.

I don't think it's like that anymore but at some point sugaring was really idealized and glamorized. I met this guy who bought art from me but he made me go to the restaurant with him and asked waiters to take pictures of us.. he was bragging to me about having 16 year old sugar babies and he said it was "totally legal to date them" and he believed buying them a meal was payment for spending time with him...

Teenagers are naive and don't know any better..
