Phil has 30 goals, many big goals,. especially since you stated he never gets them, ty for that btw, and he is what 22? also closing in on 100 career goals as well, again not bad for a kid.... and last year, the invisible man helped boston to the top of the east, seems the only invisible man this season was his center from last year (before he got hurt)
1. 30 goals , yes. Many big goals - ha ha ha. Many MEANINGLESS goals is more like it.
2. Enough with your BS about him being 22 years old. So what? Compare him to REAL scorers at the same age and it's a JOKE. Yeah, Phil's okay as a goal scorer but he's sure not anything special and he's sure as HELL not a superstar, "merging" or otherwise. Look at some other "kids" like Crosby, Ovechkin, Kovalchuk, Kariya, Bure, Selanne, Roenick, YZERMAN, Malkin, Staal, Sakic, Toews, to name just a few of the more obvious ones from fairly recent times.
3. Boston was thrilled to dump this soft, one-dimensional prima donna and even more thrilled to get draft picks that almost certainly WILL have superstar potential. Boston is having a tough year not because of the loss of Kessel, but because Savard has been hurt and/or out for almost the whole season, Tim Thomas has not matched his career year, Lucic has had health problems, and something (not sure what) has affected Chara's game. But in spite of all these problems, Boston still managed to beat the lowly leafs (as expected) Saturday night, and Phil sure didn't hurt his former team when he pulled his usual invisible man act against them.
