i think someones getting a tad bit upset? put down the bottle, get a nice warm glass of milk instead, drink it, lay down and drift off to scabland, um, i mean dreamland... you will feel better tommorrow, i promise.... goodnight Ms. C :p
Translation: Yeah maybe you did steal the line from GHG and since you can't come up with a decent excuse you'll fall back on the tired old BS about bandwagon ifans. From what I've seen on this board, the ONLY "bandwagon fan" is your idol Doc. Even though he has deleted his posts, enough other posters have copied and quoted them to show the PROOF that he has jumped off the leaf wagon many times (as soon as they get eliminated, which - for the leafs - is usually pretty early) and on to the habs wagon.

On the other hand, I have ALWAYS said I am a Wings fan. Long before you joined this board I said I was a Wings fan (and I even took some heat for it from some habs fans). I have NEVER said I was a fan of any other team. I have also ALWAYS said that I hate the leafs...and with good reason. GHG has ALWAYS said he is a habs fan, as have Cosmo, G1GBallday, JustBob, Techman, Octavian, and others. YOU are the only person who has ever said differently - so either you are making this shit up because you have nothing intelligent to say, or else you are so divorced from reality that you actually believe the garbage you write.

the only thing your proving is the lact of intelligence you posess" im gonna say im a red wings fan when it is so obvious i love the habs" ,
such a baby, hard to believe your 61...

You really are not very clever. I believe the word you are looking for is "lack", but more importantly you are at it yet again with making things up. Where on earth do you get that I am a habs fan, clown, when I have NEVER said that I am and when I have in fact DENIED that I am countless times? As I have said many times before, I would NOT deny being a habs fan or a fan of ANY other team if I were, because it would not be anything to be ashamed of. There is only ONE shame in hockey, and that is being a stinking leafs fan, which might explain why you and your hero are the ONLY two leaf fans on the board and might ALSO explain why your hero has so often jumped ship in the past.
I see your latest delusion is making up an age for me. We have never met (thank God!) and you don't know ANYTHING about me, so to pick ANY age for me, whether it's 61, 32, 88, 14, 29, or anything else your twisted little mind comes up with is downright stupid. You never have anything intelligent to say, so all you you can do is repeat the same old idiocies (most of which are stolen anyway) or make up new little fantasies for yourself. What a waste of DNA.

Interesting Blog Post on a Habs Fan Site A week ago

Left With The Hapless Habs
Early in the third period of last night's fiasco in New York, I switched over to watch the finals of the Canadian Figure Skating Championship held this past week in London Ontario. Does that indicate just how fed up with the Montreal Canadiens this fan was? Believe me the skating program was far more entertaining than what was happening on the ice at Madison Square Gardens and way less stressful.

This was the Habs 50th game and you would have thought it was their first game in Junior hockey. This was another big 2 points flushed down the toilet by a team that looks more and more like a 15th place team than a contender to make the playoffs.

What in hell is going on? Irate fans like myself are blaming everyone from the GM to Youppi and mostly because we're frustrated fans that can't understand why the Habs keep taking one step forward and then three backward. This may not be the most powerful team in the league but it's difficult to believe they are really as bad as how they are playing or should I say not playing.

The guys in the net get a lot of blame for losing games but is it really the goaltenders fault? This team has hung Price and Halak out to dry defensively on numerous occasions, so is it any wonder that they lack confidence at times? Even Markov has been playing in a fog of late and that's bad news for this team. One line cannot fulfill the entire offensive needs of this team especially when defense has left the building. The powerplay was laughable last night and puck possession, well let's not even go there. Did anyone tell the guys that puck possession means they have the puck and it's difficult to shoot on the net without one.

Maybe it's time we stopped putting the entire blame on the players. If any blame is going to be meted out, then look no further than management and behind the bench. Just what is this system that Jacques Martin is trying to implement? How many more games do they have to lose before it kicks in? Five, ten, thirty-two?

Watching this team play it's hard to believe there really is a system and maybe that's part of the problem. To be honest I've never been a fan of Jacques Martin as a coach. So he won the Jack Adams Trophy once, how many Stanley Cup rings does he have to his credit? How many winning teams has he coached? When Bob Gainey signed Martin as head coach a little voice in my head kept saying "this is a bad move Bob." And sadly 50 games into the season, my instincts haven't changed. He may be a great guy but other than the fact that he can speak to the media in French what has he done for this team?

It's obvious that the players have not bought into the "system" and if after 25 games it's not working then shouldn't you change or adjust the "system"? Pre-lockout hockey is over but it looks like Martin has not discovered that fact yet. The Habs games are not well managed and it shows big time. Bag skating anyone?

Coaches like Michel Therrien and recently Andy Murray have gotten the axe from teams playing better hockey than the Habs are at present. Unfortunately firing Martin and his minions would mean more money paid out by the Habs for a coach to sit at home. A prime example is Carbonneau fired last season, who sits on his boney butt collecting a paycheck from the Habs and babbling from time to time on the CBC.

So unless the Molson ownership makes a drastic move and does a clean sweep of the Habs, the Canadiens are stuck with the present regime and with a system that is choking the life out of the team and the hope from the fans.

This week the Canadiens will play against the St. Louis Blues, New Jersey Devils and an encore meeting of the New York Rangers. No doubt these teams are giddy with the prospect of taking two points from this hapless Habs team.

Well, at least I have our local QMJHL team to cheer for. Not only are they a team that's leading the league but more importantly they are giving us fans reason to remember that hockey is the greatest game in the world, the way the Montreal Canadiens did in the past.

Ms. Cairo, i know you've had gay fantasies about me for some time, and continuously bring up my name (an obsession maybe?) in your diatribes with Iggy, but what posts have i deleted in this section? I haven't deleted a single post in this section in months! Most of my deletions occur in other sections/threads after i've made a point & everyone has had a chance to read what i wrote.

Trivia question:

Which NHL team is the worse team in the NHL at even-strenght, which also hasn't scored an even-strenght goal in nearly 214 minutes of play?

Only in your dreams Doc, and you better hope lggy doesn't see your post and get jealous. I'm sure both of you would be brokenhearted if you stopped "hanging out" (as lg so quaintly puts it).

Continue your strategy Doc - deny, deny, deny, and then deny some more. Maybe one day someone will even believe you - that is, if it's someone who hasn't followed the hockey threads here over the years.By the way, where did Sittler go after Toronto? Oh yeah, that's right - you wrote something, then edited it, then deleted it.

What Scabs fans are saying about the leafs trades and their team

Are you kidding me?!!!
Ya know something....As much as I HATE the Leafs...and as much as I HATE Burke...as least he's doing something. Hey Bob, take notes! We couldn't have offered something more attractive to Calgary?! Wow. Ridiculous.
Atta boy Bob, keep up the great work!
Oh yeah, I forgot, your boy wonder , Carey Price, is gonna carry/lead us all the way to the promised land

I think "The Builder" tittle should go to Burke and not Bob

If this keeps up, you'll be looking at the Big Bad Leafs and not the Laffs anymore

Yeah ok maybe you guys are right but still, at least Burke is trying SOMETHING... We just lost cammalleri, and IMO, without him, we won't make it to the playoffs

Phaneuf admittedly could be a stellar defenseman especially with Kaberle on his side and Giggy is leaps and bounds superior to Toskala even on a bad day. Furthermore Jason Blake is gone, which is simply ideal. The difference between Gainey and Burke in my opinion is Burke actually has a plan whereas Gainey seemingly has no idea what in the world he is doing

Pretty impressive stats

".Since he entered the NHL in the 2005-06 season Phaneuf is tops among defenceman with 75 goals (2nd Sheldon Souray - 68), power-play goals with 48 (2nd Zdeno Chara - 41), game-winning goals with 21 (2nd Dan Boyle - 15) and shots at 1,150 (2nd Chara - 992) over that span. .."

Maybe Phaneuf need a change of scenery

What bothers me about this trade is that Phaneuf is now in our division. Off year or not, he is not easy to play against and our undersized guys will have to keep their heads wayyy up when he's on the ice.

Speaking of old raps, that little problem you and your butty share is getting kind of old also.

Congratulations however on at least knowing the name of Gordie Howe. Mr. Hockey, one of the 3 greatest players ever, was of course a Red Wing.

Since your close friend impressed you so much with his hockey knowledge, let's test him once again: Which team is currently in second-last place in the entire NHL? Hint: this team has a miserable 17 victories in 56 games, is 2-6-2 in its last 10, and recently traded away one third of its scoring.Second hint: Its FORMER most intelligent player is now the happiest man on earth, and its CURRENT most intelligent player is Garnet Exelby.
