Hi guys !
I would like to know your opinion about Pacioretti ?
He is a sexy guy (IMHO) but is he offering the passionnate performance Montréal fans are deserving or he needs a bit more Italian passion ?
Gilles Villeneuve and Maurice Richard were great warriors :)
Go Habs Go !

Leafs won their 10th STRAIGHT victory at home. ;)

They were leading 4-0 into the last few minutes of the game until Pittsburgh took their goalie out and made a last push to score goals. Freddie Andersen was absolutely great throughout the evening (as usual) and i was surprised that the Leafs could play as well against a team such as the Penguins considering their best player (Auston Matthews) is still out nursing a shoulder injury.

If i were the Leafs i'd continue to sit out Matthews, let him heal properly & make sure he's rested for the upcoming playoffs. Toronto is going nowhere in the standings other than third spot in their division and will face either Boston or Tampa in the first round of the playoffs. I'd also consider resting Andersen in favor of Mclhinney, Picard or Sparks and give those goaltenders 1 out of every 2 starts. The Leafs playoffs success will highly be dependent on their excellent goaltender.

Historic night...Ovechkin gets 2 goals and scores his 600th NHL goal dans une victoire de 3-2 vs Jets. He did it in fewer than 1,000 games---990---and joined Gretsky-Lemieux and Bret Hull.....spectacular...:yo: OVI scored his 41 and 42 goals of the season....and Laine his 41....interesting.

Tonight don't miss PREDS-JETS....should be another exciting one.

Look behind you.
Think if Toronto picked Laine instead of Matthews, would have been an improvement. Have to give the Leafs credit, playing better than expected the entire season. Two teams in the cup this year, TO and Winnipeg.

Laine seems to be more durable than Matthews, this because Matthews plays a little bit crazy at times and exposes himself to unnecessary hits. The ability to stay on the ice is itself a talent that is not to be underestimated. Guys who are frequently on the hockey inactive list, much like their baseball counterparts who are always on the disabled list, are of no help to their teams.

Leafs won again tonight in a great come-from-behind win against Dallas. This was the Leafs' 11th consecutive win at home. Either the Leafs, Boston or Tampa will play in the Stanley Cup final.

On another note one of my good friends went to see the Marlies play Laval. He called me after the game to tell me that the worse team he's seen this year is Laval. He added they were terrible and have nobody on that team that will ever make the NHL one day. He also mentioned that their best player was former Marlies player Kirby Rychel.

I would not dismiss either the Penguins or the Capitals coming out of east into Cup Finals. The Penguins are the defending champs and although the crown has rested uneasily on their heads, they still have Mallkin, Crosby and Phil Kessel. Regarding the Caps, I feel as though they are overdue for a playoff explosion. They are a team that has underachieved a little bit and it could be a case of them simply being due. I don’t like the Leafs or Bruins. The Leafs are too young and lacking on defense and the Bruins have neither great talent nor depth. Teams with no depth get exposed big time in the playoffs. So my money picks are Lightning, Penguins and Capitals.

Riemsdyk rides again with 2 goals - 1 assist.....he is on fire dans une autre victoire des Leafs. Malkin scores his 40th goal aginst the Habs....another great season.

Crawford will not be back this season and probably more...inquiétant.
