Look behind you.
Flames could be out of Calgary soon, no nee arena for them and the threat is to move.

I fucking hate preseason games! I never watch them!!! It's basically a cash-grab by the greedy billionaire owners. I wouldn't pay a dime to watch a preseason game! Heck, i wouldn't even go if they'd pay me to go!

The was the threat, move to Seattle.

Might be the best thing to happen to Quebec City. Once Seattle gets a franchise it would put QC atop the list for another team's relocation home or expansion. But personally i doubt the Flames will leave Calgary. It would be a big mistake if the league would allow this. I'm sure they can all figure out something.

Leafs GM Lou Lamoriello told the media that the Leafs have plenty of leaders on the team who will share the leadership role. Patrick Marleau was once a captain while with the Sharks and easily could have been named captain. However since he's new to the team naming him captain now wouldn't have made any sense. I felt the same way several years ago when Brian Burke handed the captaincy to Dion Phaneuf before he had yet to play a single game with the team.

I see either Auston Matthews or Morgan Rielly being named captain in the future. But there's no reason to add the pressure of being a captain in the world's hockey capital to a young hockey player still developing. For example, i believe Max Paccioretty would be a better player today if the team had waited one more year to name him captain. That first year he appeared like a deer caught in headlights.

Do you guys think its automatic that Las Vegas will be last in the NHL in points, or will they be good enough to outpoint one or two of the existing teams? What do you guys think?

Well...Vegas is playing in a very strong WEST Conference.....they will compete with Arizona and Vancouver....two teams wich r going nowhere....BUT IMHO will not b in playoffs this year....BUT should do better than Colorado....so perhaps not b last in the league in points. Personnellement i just ask them to b a competetive team....interesting to watch....and they have with Fleury a good and experienced goaler....that could help a lot.....my two cents.

I don't think Vegas will finish last overall. I think they'll have a respectable team but will struggle scoring goals.

Oilers in the finals, as long as the refs do not fuck us like last year. They beat the Ducks in 5, still pissed, no but if I still had my ninja skills we would be short a couple of refs.

I see the Leafs potentially making it to the Conference Finals, but i still can't see them moving on to the Stanley Cup Finals. They are still at least one year away from contending for the Cup. One or two more years of NHL experience under their belt will do wonders for the young Leafs. I feel the Oilers are in the same boat. I still can't see them playing in the Stanley Cup Finals although reaching the Conference Finals remains a possibility. But it'll be far from easy.

As for the Habs i honestly don't know where they're heading. Sure they acquired Drouin and Alzner but they also lost a big scoring threat in Alex Radulov and steady veteran defenceman Andrei Markov. I see their offence (which was invisible on many nights) to remain pretty much the same while the defence may be challenging other teams for the slowest defencemen in the league. Once again this season the key will be Carey Price.

Kings-Canucks wil play 2 games this week in China, yes in China. Y a pas de limite aux velléités du petit Empereur Bettman......espérons que Québec va passer avant...lol.

BRUINS--HABS tonight...even if it's a preseason game there is always rivality and intensity between those....
