Chicago Blackhawks - 2010 Stanley Cup Champions

And one more time for the ladies... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEXHeTcxQy4

Not even the officials could help the Flyers and their pathetic classless fans...although they tried...

Go home Broad Street Bums...

Have fun,

Jman

PS I have to add this because I am just overwhelmed with the moronic behavior of the Flyers' fans...What a classless display of terrible sportsmanship...Ahhh Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love and passionate classlessness.

hey, even YOU have to right once in awhile! :)

And the best thing about the hawks winning is that Huet gets a ring, something he never would of got with the habs, thanks Gainey!

Your hidden affection for the Habs surfaces yet again with your utter joy for Huet. I must disagree however: there were many good things about the Hawks winning, but the BEST is that it continues the tradition of SKILLED teams (Hawks, Penguins, Wings) winning over less skilled teams (Flyers, leafs - not that the leafs are anywhere near the Flyers in ability!) that rely on intimidation.

Your post also raises an interesting question: We all know that no leaf has come close to the Cup in 43 years, but when was the last time that even an EX-leaf played on a Cup-winning team?

Former Leaf wins cup with Chicago!

How about it took a former Leaf to coach the hawks to a championship, ala, Joel Quenneville :) spin it anyway you wish, it is still true.... that is indeed worthy of a GO LEAFS GO! .... ps, there is only ONE winner this year, and the habs were not it either. lol

on another note, nice to see a hometown hero of someone i know win a cup, way to go #88 :D

Good to see Chicago win, they deserved it and were the better team.

Was surprised to see how many players from Canada were on that team about 80% most being from Ontario.

Was also disgusted at the philly fans during the ceremony and celebrations as they were booing.

If they werent happy with the end result, they didnt have to stay and watch it!

yea, as they showed the players at the end of cbc's broadcast, they had each players response as to their fav player growing up and where they were from, i too was surprised to see all the Canadian talent on the hawks.. as far as philly fans, well, its philly lol.

So not expecting to hear Niemi's fav player growing up to be Arturs Irbe but it makes sense.

Huet idolized Roy.

2/3 of your 'Phillies' are Canadians and what about a certain Briere this year ?
Leading scorer in 2010 playoffs
Broke the Flyers Leach`s record for pts in postseason and finished 1 pt. shy of Gretzky`s record, highest output since Mario Lemieux in 1992.

Flyers have the 2nd best winning percentage in the league just behind....the HABS !
That's why Flyers are SOBs that we like to hate.

And...don't you love to see them loose once again, one goal short of the Cup ?
Bouhou ! snif snif !

Congrats to the HAWKS !
What no Riot ? Well maybe next time in 2060. :)
