1) Many potential clients have made less money during the last couple of months.
2) Some escorts have other jobs (e.g. waitress, barmaid, beauty shop worker, sales) which have also been shut down for the past month.
3) I don't believe that young women who work at a job with high pay and obvious risks are going to be deterred by the prospect of infection by the Coronavirus.
4) Some retired escorts will return to the business as their other sources of income were cut off so their debts have increased.
In any field of endeavor, increased supply and decreased demand cause prices to lower.

I'm seeing this with independents, and if they can jack up the price and guys are still paying it, more power to them. It's a short term play, no way that can last.
Welcome to the strange world of pandemic economics. Massive supply & demand shocks result in unexpected market outcomes. Things will never be the same until we hv a vaccine or effective therapeutic.
I see any price increase as being more related to the assumption of greater risk in working, than to any fluctuation in supply and demand. I would like to assume that supply and demand are almost equally reduced although, given the younger age of most SPs than their clients, it could be that the reduction in demand exceeds the reduction in supply, which theoretically should have the opposite effect on prices, and cause them to go down. This in turn bolsters the theory that any price increases are entirely risk related.
In essence, the client is paying more for the SP's risk of exposure in servicing myriad clients, and for the "privilege" to share in that risk.
