The White House is holding an Operation Warp Speed vaccine summit Tuesday at the direction of the president, yet Pfizer and Moderna won't be attending.
Notice how no other nations leaders are trying to take credit for a vaccine, only Trump is this conceited.

Pfizer offered us a chance to purchase more of its vaccine this Summer, but Trump declined. Has he done even one thing that's helped America?
I was wondering when the Trump haters were going to bring this up. Pfizer isn't the only drug company developing a vaccine, there are several. You don't put all of your eggs in one basket, especially when, at the time, you didn't know if the vaccine was going to be approved for distribution. Had the president purchased more of the vaccine during the summer Nancy Pelosi and all their Covid lockdown lovers would have lost their shit. The Trump haters would have bitched about this whether he purchased the extra vaccine or not. There are several other companies producing vaccines. Moderna for example is a much easier vaccine to distribute because it doesn't need to be kept as cold as Pfizer's vaccine. Thus making it more easily available to Americans across the country. Pfizer will be first, but they won't be the only vaccine and as more companies get to finalize their vaccines there will be more supply. Pfizer knew this and simply wanted to profit more because of it.

I see it differently. I see Pfizer wanting to profit instead of them wanting to help the cause. Pfizer doesn't give a shit about the people they continue to rip off with their outrageous markups. I defend the move that the president made, yes, but I would have defended it even if it were a different president. On the other hand, you are always going to find a reason to insult Trump, even when in this case, he made the right decision. I gave my opinion, you simply cut and pasted a fact.
IMHO, I think Pfizer knew that storing their vaccine was going to be a huge undertaking and they simply wanted to sell as much as product they could before the other, more easily available vaccines came to market. Pfizer only cares about profits, they don't give a shit about people. That's the part you and I don't seem to agree on. It's quite possible we do agree, but your obsession with positing anti Trump rhetoric may be clouding your judgement.
