There is a big difference - King George III in the 1770s taxed Americans without them having any representative on their behalf in the English government. Trump, on the other hand, will keep taxes down, but what taxes we pay, we have representatives in our Congress and in our state legislatures to do our bidding on. Trump wears a Crown based on 312 votes he got from state electors.
