How is this off topic? How is this nothing? The topic is Towards the Presidental Election. Trump has confessed that he interfered in the last election. He should be indicated. Oh wait, he has been. And now he's confessed.

I personally tink the more prudent action would have been to allow Trump to use the song (which is a GREAT song), provided that he send in a payment for doing so. I do not understand why the Hayes heirs would object to a spike in their royalties. This should have been a financial settlement.

I'm not thrown off at all. When melana wouldn’t hold trump's hand while he was president it was never a serious news story or intended to score political points in a campaign. It was laughable and showed the world that she hated him too. However trump confessing that he had the right to interfere in the 2020 election is a serious news story that should concern even right-wing Americans.
