POLL.....ABC NEWS/IPSOS/Aug23-27/marge of error 2%......Registered voters HARRIS 50---TROMP 46.....Among likely voters HARRIS 52---TROMP 46.......the trend is confirmed..
We now entering the heart of the electoral campaign with debate (s) to come.......buckle up....it will b much much more nasty....BUT at the end KAMALA will prevail.....enjoy this beautiful/sunny Sunday.....lol.

The issue with US Presidential elections is that the winner is not determined by the number of voters but the electoral college.

This means having 100,000 more Harris voters in California or Washington serve no good.

Back in October 2016, Hilary had a winning margin of 12% over Trump. She won the popular vote by 2.9 million votes.

But in terms of the electoral college? Trump won 304 to 227.

A certain number of illegal aliens are necessary to staff the landscaping and restaurant industries in my State and perform jobs Americans don't want to perform. The trick is keeping the flow of illegal aliens into the country at a small trickle rather than a deluge. Even my Trump loving relative, who employed them before retiring, understands this.
More likely businesses wanting illegals from poor countries is to keep wages low. Hiring Americans means increasing pay and improve working conditions.

Why does right-wing media and their consumers feel the need to be critical of such insignificant matters? Why must everything be a battle?
I think when people use insane arguments to defend a position it reveals a lot about orthodoxy. This is especially important now that many of us realize there is quite a powerful structure behind politicians - of both sides to be clear.

In the same way that Trudeau was defending not applying the gst to netflix (while it is applied to many similar subscriptions) by saying “now our opponents want to raise taxes on the middle-class?”.

I do not remember who said it that a little bit of mafia is good for the society as it lubricates its functioning. The same is with illegal immigration. Though the society needs to pressure both constantly to keep them in check.
BREAKING: BIG NEWS in the U.S. Senate!

The SAVE Act will be attached to the spending bill.

That means Democrats must vote to protect elections from illegal alien votes or be responsible for a shutdown.

But why are the Dems against it? One would think the hillbillies who vote for Trump would not have ID but the superior educated Harris voters would have all the ID needed, this should be a plus for the Dems. They are scared of something.
Illegal voting or pandering are the only explanations.

Democrats including Harris fully supported id requirements to prove vaccination status - measures that disproportionally affected people of color. No complaint here while full objections to voter id.

You need id in the US to get insurance, work legally, travel by plane, collect social security, buy alcohol, tobacco or firearms… even go see an R rated movie.

Democrats also did not push federal id initiatives that could have given those id-less people of color access to all these opportunities.

No question that there was voter suppression in the past. Denying voter id is not a fix for that.

Republicans and democrats share in this shame, democrats first who were mad slavery ended (ironic to some that Republican party was leading anti-slavery back then while democrats were more pro-choice, let each state decide if they want slavery or not). Republicans picked up the voter suppression later on once Southern democrats picked up the great society project.

Sad all around.

Megyn Kelly was less than impressed with Tim Walz's explanation after he was accused of lying about his military service.

On Thursday, August 29, Walz and Vice President Kamala Harris sat down for the first major television interview with CNN's Dana Bash.

Stolen Valor Scandal Deepens: Brazen Tim Walz Sparks Vets' Fury After...

SOURCE: @MEGYNKELLY/YOUTUBE
Megyn Kelly accused Tim Walz of lying about his military service.

At one point, she brought up that Walz once said he "carried weapons in war" despite never being deployed "in a war zone," and asked him to clarify his statement.

"We were talking about in this case, it was after a school shooting, the ideas of carrying these weapons of war. And my wife, the English teacher, told me my grammar's not always correct," he admitted to Bash.

"But again, if it's not this it's an attack on my children for showing love for me, or it's an attack on my dog," Harris' running mate continued. "I'm not going to do that, and the one thing I'll never do is I'll never demean another member's service in any way. I never have and I never will."

That same day, Kelly shared video of that portion of the interview to X and accused the Minnesota governor of being a liar.

"This 'I speak like [regular ppl] do' as an excuse for his lies is so insulting. No, you don’t," she wrote. "We don’t steal valor. We don’t say we fought in wars we didn’t. We don’t say we achieved military ranks we didn’t. Stop besmirching the American ppl in an effort to downplay your lies."

Around the corner
That's an unsubstantiated and false allegation. CNN denies that that the 27 minute interview was edited. CNN asserts the interview was played in its entirety.
Good thing she had her lawyer there to hold her hand but even he can’t stop that annoying cackling laugh of hers.
Good looking woman but spoils it all as soon as she opens her mouth.
