Voting for a new party would be about as popular as asking Americans to hand in their firearms or give up watching football and baseball.
And the burgers.
There are traditions to be maintained and families have long standing history of being a Republican or Democrat a new party with the current generations has zero chance.
Yes it's true, it was just an idea that came up with a friend and a bottle of white wine.

New signs Rupert Murdoch’s media empire is turning on Donald Trump after a damning mountain of evidence revealed by the January 6th Committee.

Fox News ignoring Trump’s return to D.C. speech while airing Mike Pence’s speech on the same day.

Rolling Stone reporting on Trump being “scared” he’s already losing the “Fox News Primary.” MSNBC’s Ari Melber reports on the splintering and a new poll revealing a majority of Republican voters don’t want Trump to be the party nominee in 2024.

The splintering within Fox News continues as the network ignores a Trump speech to air Ron DeSantis instead.
The former President hitting back and reportedly “tracking which hosts he can count on.” MSNBC’s Ari Melber reports on the devastating shift for Trump and one key Fox moment caught on tape, as a host bristles at polling showing most GOP voters want someone other than Trump in 2024.

I hope Trump sets up his own party - OANN and NewsMax might play along and give him the publicity he craves so badly. Result: divide the F*ck out of the red vote. He very well might make America great again by doing the thing he does so well: losing the race for his party and the Republicans!

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) says that no matter what happens in her primary race she will continue to fight to keep former President Donald Trump from being the 2024 Republican presidential nominee.

Cheney, who is facing a tough primary against a Trump-endorsed candidate, says she is going to continue to tell the truth about January 6 and Donald Trump.

^^^^EB, I'm glad that you put this article/story in the presidential run thread. I see this as an overreach by the federal government and setting a bad precedent for future presidents. Many will be happy that this happened to the 45th president. But this sends a clear message to any outsiders wanting to be president of the United States. The swamp will do everything possible to keep them out. If the raid on a former presidents home is justified, so be it. But, to use a sports analogy, this is "bulletin board material". This could very well end up uniting the Republican base with Trump MAGA followers. A Trump/Desantis ticket in 2024 would be unstoppable. Imagine what the debates would look like. Inflation, recession (yes, it's really happening even though the Dems have tried to redefine it), gas prices, etc. and now this. These are things that Americans see and pay for everyday. We will look for someone to bring us out of the mess we are currently in. Biden is toast, there is no significant person that can run for the dems except for maybe Michelle Obama. With Trump only being eligible for a 4 year term, Desantis will take the reigns in 2028 giving the Republicans a 12 year shot at running the country. When the Republicans take the house in a few months they will go after Biden and his son for the many questionable things that they have done. And sadly, impeachments will become a regular thing. No former president will be able to avoid future raids on their homes. That's what happened yesterday.

Impeachments will become a regular thing for crook presidents like Trump.
Raids will happen for presidents who will break the laws.
Former presidents are not above the laws, they are not kings or dictators.

OK, waiting for Brandon's impeachment and his idiots son investigation. Republicans and MAGA Trump followers will unite and rally against the dems in 2024. That was the point of my post and the point of this thread. Your point was to just complain about Trump and not contribute to the thread. The anti Trump thread is the next one over.

Did Trump drained the swamp as he promised ?
There are many articles that were written on the subject proving the contrary.

Good idea, but it wouldn't add anything, since there's already a thread about the magnificent orange clown.
This is the 2024 presidential run thread, I'm sure your familiar with the location of the future president of the US hatred thread. Maybe you can help your buddy find it as well.

I see many investigations and most likely a vote to determine if Biden is fit for duty once the GOP has majority in both the house and senate in November. Imagine the clusterfuck if Kamala has to take over? Actually, it won't be much different than now.

I think Brandon will step down for “medical reasons” if the GOP wins as many seats as anticipated in November. Having Harris become the president won‘t really mean much because nothing could get passed. It would create an interesting 2024 though. I’m pretty sure the Dems wouldn’t want her to run for President because nobody would vote for her. So then who will be the one stepping up?
