INFLATION...let's talk about.....TROMP says he will impose HUGE tariffs---at least 10%---- on MOST imports and a tariff of 60% or more on CHINEESE goods.......results....trade war/higher prices for consumers and factories......higher inflation and for sure recession...
just watch the damage to come...lollllll
Tariffs do make prices go up but I think this proposal is to remove Chinese tariffs on US goods.

China relies much more on exports than the US does so that is a battle the US could win and that would lower prices on both sides.

This fear of this could also accelerate companies diversifying away from China to friendlier countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, etc.

Joining forces.......but what will be the reward for RFK Jr. should Trump win? Ambassador to Madagascar? Or something more prestigious, like Secretary of the Interior?

I wouldn't call the 20 years old that shot at Trump a sniper.
A real sniper would have easily killed Trump with one shot at the distance he was posted.
The firearm used is known for his poor accuracy, he probably used cheap inaccurate ammunition and an inadequate optical device.
I have rifles of the same caliber used that can group 5 bullets in .5 inch at 200 yards.

What if I told you that 20 year old “identified” as a sniper :)

He studied the scene, took position despite secret service and then shot fairly accurately (bullet touched Trump’s ear). He likely did not shoot for center mass because sometimes presidents and ex-presidents have a ceramic bullet proof vest. That is more accomplished than what 99% of amateurs could do.

I just wrote that he was not a well equiped sniper.
He did good planning as you wrote though, but the execution was poor. We don't know which of his shots injured Trump but if it was the first, he probably saw his miss and used the spray and pray tactic after. He sure was nervous also and that didn't help.
Very sadly, one man was killed and others wounded.

For me, all this story is not clear and killing the guy was a good way to never have to deal with the real story...

Even if the possibility of a total frame-up by Trump himself is very low, I can't exclude it totally. All we know is Trump was almost not touched, very small quantity of blood (even if he changed the story claiming being full of blood), a very small bandage, an innocent was killed in the attendance. Trump's fanatics and Trump himself said God intervened... A typical American story...

Maybe we will know one day what really happened. But maybe not. It's difficult to find the whole truth when the main suspect is killed by law enforcement.

We only have to think of the whole saga surrounding the assassination of JFK by Oswald and then the assassination of Oswald by Jack Ruby. Is this whole story reduced to these 3 peoples? It seems impossible to me. But that said, sometimes the most improbable things happen like the election of the clown in 2016.

When a clown enters the palace, he does not become a king, but the palace becomes a circus. The years 2017 to the end of 2020 have demonstrated this.

1,7 trillion to help people.

Do you know that The Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts, taken together, is the most expensive wars in US history – totaling somewhere between $4 to $6 trillion. This includes long-term medical care and disability compensation for service members, veterans and families, military replenishment and social and economic costs. But not considering the pain for the families of those who died.

And not to mention all those atrocities were done on false premices by then Republican President Bush administration that there were weapons of mass destruction hidden in the Iraqi desert.

Sous la présidence de Trump le déficit Américain vs le % Produit National Brut a explosé alors qu'Obama l'avait ramené à un niveau acceptable. Merci aux baisses d'impôts massives pour les plus riches.

So if republicans want to pretend Economy was better under Dumb presidency they have to be either dumb or simply liars. One thing is sure they don't care about numbers or they refuse to look at them preferring to rely on garbage papers as The New-York Post or stupid TV Host on FOX TV.

This will drive inflation through the roof and add $1.7 trillion to national debt that we already cannot ever pay for. Does she believe that this is a game of Monopoly where we can just print and hand out money and there are no consequences????????????? I am certainly now one step closer to voting for Trump, which would be extremely distasteful, but this has to be stopped.

What do you think trump's tariffs will do to inflation? Everything gets more costly. Tariffs are just another tax directly on the consumer.

Yep....non-partisan Peterson Institute/International Economics said by imposing 10% tariffs across-the-board and 60% more on Chineese imports a typical middle-class household in U.S. would face an estimated 1,700 /year in additional costs.

The day after after RFK Jr. Announces he is backing Trump the media posts this

Ex-presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s former Harvard University classmate accused the conspiracy theorist of selling cocaine as a student.

Not hard to tell the media wants Trump to lose.

Interesting double standard. You are against tariffs but not against taxes more specifically a carbon tax. A tariff is a tax. Any tax is no good even a carbon tax. At the end it is the average joe that suffers by paying higher prices. Tariffs or taxes, there should be none. Harris supports a Federal Carbon tax. Both tariffs and taxes make the government richer.

Trump's tariffs will have the same effect as Harris's carbon tax. She supports a Federal Carbon tax. She supports increasing taxes in energy. More expensive energy means more inflation. Whatever their justifications, they are all excuses to add a tax. You are not consistent.

I can definitely envision a scenario in which RFK Jr. is given a ceremonial job like Ambassador To Madagascar, only to be quickly fired after making comments about the Madagascar environment that are deemed insulting or offensive.

Remember that he told a parasite worm ate a part of his brain. I wonder if it is below or above 50% !
