Mass immigration, bring in tons of asylum seekers and give them all kinds of free social benefits and American taxpayers will get the bill, more taxes in the guise of climate change, more taxes in general, open to covid mandates, force electric cars, etc.. All very bad policies. Nothing good will come out of this.

I do not need an entire list. Just name a few things. I am really interested to know. For me both Democrats and Republicans are authoritarian to some extent but none are dictators or aspiring to be one and I doubt that will ever happen in the US, hence the max two term limit something Canada lacks. You could have fooled me, I mean Trump lost the election to Biden. If not then why now will be different? The last time I checked dictators do not loose the election and it becomes a one party system. See what happened in Venezuela, Maduro still won even though the people no longer want Socialism, that is what dictators or aspiring dictators do. The Libertarians are closer to my own beliefs than Democrats or Republicans. Jo Jorgensen is a distinguished Academic at Clemson University who holds a Ph.D and has taught there for many years. She has actual beliefs and positions that resonate with people who are more forward thinking, and do not want to be like the sheep following Harris or Trump even when they speak with forked tongues.
Love Harris's catch phrase " We don't want to go back ". Pretty sure 90% of Americans would love to set the clocks back 5 years. Dems must be very happy to have followers who do zero thinking on their own and rely on the media to tell them how to think.
The pro-Democrat posts in this thread, at least 95%, are sheep like, sycophantic posts that contain no real thought or analysis but simply unquestioningly regurgitate, like drool from the corner of the mouth, what the media has "touted." I personally think the Mod should delete any sheep like posts that don't offer any analysis and simply are rah rah cheerleading posts. If I want to see hot cheerleaders I will go to a college basketball or football game. Deletion of such posts would promote and encourage thoughtful analysis of important issues of policy and discourage the alarming propensity to mimic sheep.

Where to begin? Where to end? I can list numerous examples of how he abused power and tried to become a dictator and failed. Rather than go through a long list of his first term anti-democratic behaviors, let me go about it another way.
As I've stated trump is an aspiring dictator. He portrays himself as a strongman - 'only he can fix it', he pays no attention to democratic norms or institutions, he divides and polarizes us with 'us vs them' rhetoric, he promotes the death of truth declaring unfavorable news to be 'fake news', he promises retribution against his political enemies, he speaks of suspending the Constitution regarding elections, he said he will be a dictator only on day 1.
He failed as a dictator during his first administration because he didn't know how to utilize all the levers of power, there were officials and cabinet members who pushed back against his authoritarianism, and he didn't have the full support of the republican party.
He will likely succeed during a second administration because he learned from his mistakes, he will only surrounded himself with MAGA loyalists from day 1, the republican party has been completely taken over by trump, and the SCOTUS that he packed has given him criminal immunity for official acts.
The only way to prevent the loss of our 248 year experiment in democracy is to defeat trump resounding at the ballot box. Even then he will not accept the results of another loss, he will conspire to overturn the election results, and will foment societal unrest and political violence. We are in for very dangerous and dark times in America.
