I don't care how he's registered. His 33 reasons are partisan republican talking points. I've heard them before many times.I don't care who is promoting these partisan talking points, but they mean nothing to me compared to what's really matters - character and democracy.

And out of the 44 people who worked with him in his cabinet, 40 are not going to support his re-election.

Just imagine you're out of a job.

The new company interviewing you decides to do some digging, and 40 out of 44 of your previous colleagues/subordinates say you're shit.

This is the commercial that Trump is running that may win him the election. Nobody should have an elective surgery paid for to "advance" a political movement or agenda. This is going to infuriate many undecided voters- appropriately:

Who cares? This is an irrelevant issue in the big scheme of things. Like "woke" and DEI. This election is all about character, democracy, and who we are as a society.

Good point, surprisingly so. The numbers are slightly off though. It is 43 out of 47.

That's not how a lot of voters see this. If you think 100% of the undecided voters think like you, you are dead wrong. They don't want their tax money spent on elective surgeries to further some political agenda. This is going to strike a nerve with many voters.

To be fair, Harris's commercial quoting former cabinet members of Trump saying they do not trust him are also likely to strike a nerve. So voters watching these commercials have a lot to think about.

This is the thing that most bothered me about Harris before I knew anything about her. I have worked at 7 different firms and I have seen some "turnstile employers" in my day. I have a few thoughts on this. First, the current younger generation of employees has been called the "snowflake generation" for good reason from what I have seen. They don't want to work. Second, and the first having been said, you have younger people, many ambitious, in fucking plum jobs that many would die for. Absolutely die for. And I assume the ones that were hired were the absolute most ambitious of the bunch, maybe even ready to lick some Harris boot or even ass, if needed. And for them to leave in those numbers, to me, spells BAD. And I am sure Jazzman will try and spell it differently but in my mind it just doesn't spell differently.

I don't think 100% of Harris-committed voters think like me much less undecided voters. I don't think this is an issue that most people, except those on the far-right, care about. Now former cabinet members and national security leaders being vocal opponents against trump is something to pay attention to.

The attrition rate during trump's administration was higher than that, wasn't it? How many chiefs of staff were there? And speaking of high turnover, you've been at 7 firms already. Just saying.

in 35 years - and leaving of my own volition. I am a seasoned veteran of the industry. In my business stability and continuity isn't the norm. Clients change or leave, partners die, and that changes firm dynamics very substantially. Only one of my moves was a pure "grass is greener on the other side of the pasture" type move, and it turned out not to be.

High turnover of support staff is very common at busy firms in 2024, for reasons I already mentioned. There is a certain pace that needs to be handled and those who cannot handle that pace figure it out very quickly.

BTW, I intend to keep going another 10 years at least health permitting.

Well maybe there's that same busy pace in the VPs office. Office staff turnover is not a relevant concern like POTUS character and democracy would be.

How come other VPs haven't had this turnover?

Meanwhile don't look now but Trump has finally caught Harris in the polls. I was wondering why Gaby hadn't posted any polls lately. Here is why:

Armed gangs are keeping FEMA to provide help in North Carolina.
Thanks to Republican disinformation, they think FEMA will steal dead human bodies, probably to make Democrats politicians look better !

Trump speaking to Fox News' Maria Bartiromo said that regarding election day chaos that the bigger problem is the enemy from within and named checked representative Adam Schiff. He went on to say that bad people, sick people, radical left lunatics should be handled by the National Guard or the military.

WAKE UP AMERICA. Trump has threatened to use the military against Americans who oppose him. If this isn't fascism I don't know what is.

I know it isn't politically correct but his creator Satan, should have called him back to him a long time ago !

In case anyone has forgotten, Congressman Adam Schiff (who is running for the US Senate in California) was the lead impeachment manager in trump's first impeachment case and served on the January 6 Select Committee that made 4 criminal referrals on Trump to the DOJ. This is pure revenge and retribution against Schiff and Democrats. That's what authoritarians do. Trump intends to use the military against Americans who oppose him. WAKE UP AMERICA. OUR DEMOCRACY IS AT STAKE.

Agree 100% with the esteemed posters above, caps-lock shouting et al. America must WAKE UP and before brushing its teeth (ideally before peeing as well) immediately login to the Montreal hookers' forum and set about saving democracy.

Having said that, it looks like the bookmakers have finally seen the light. Polymarket has it today (Oct 15th) 58--42 in favour of Trump. So the game, as the chess players like it to say, seems to be playing for two results: whether Trump wins rather narrowly (say, 300-350 electoral votes) or by a landslide. Faites vos jeux!
