Hello Wasisname,
I guess when you included the qualifier "usually" you covered yourself from making a stereotype...though it's a close call
...
But since you hate tattoos from the start that seems to have colored your view regardless of the person's character.
Getting a tattoo or getting a boob job for that matter are choices one makes and choices usually derive from some aspect of personality. Your typical Dungeons and Dragons player will be different from someone who loves to watch half naked men hug in the Octagon on Mixed Men's Affection.
Again exceptions of course. However I don't have a problem stereotyping people on the basis of choices they make in life. Especially those of a significant and permanent nature.
While we are at it. Different cultures have different inclinations and preferences and in my mind there is nothing wrong with acknowledging them either as long as one keeps in mind that none of these inclinations are universal. In same cases not even majority cases.
My dislike of tattoos is not so much from disliking of the tattoo itself but my reaction to the decision to get such a permanent change to your skin based on for the most part fashion and thus changeable. Although I do think naked skin looks better unmarked. It is also kinda shallow. Not a big fan of fashonistas either.
WRT fake tits. I like them, a lot. But I have difficulty respecting the decision to undergo something as serious as a surgery for a cosmetic purpose. There are some extreme cases where someone is such a mess that it can be warranted of course but for a 20 or 30 something to do such a thing just to bump up size...
That being said I've hung with people with Tattoos. Hell I've hung with people who thought I deserved to be tortured forever for a theological difference of opinion. I am an odd duck that way. I can have an utter lack of respect for some of a person's choices yet ignore it if there is something to like. As long as you don't like Justin Beiber. I mean fuck, there are some things that are going too far.
On a different note. I do prefer the plain Jane thing to the sexy thing. Both from a whoa thats hot way and a personality way. Alyson Hannigan in those flannel Pajamas. Kate Micucci in her unsexy yet adorkable librarian look. Baseball caps. hubba hubba.
