I liked the citizen at the rally in Mississippi who shouted out to trumpolini "take your ballroom and shove it up your fat ass". People are pissed and speaking out. Wish they done so in November 2024 but better late than never.
In Alaska, there is GOP candidate ans an indépendant with the same family name. Trump is enraged about that, saying that it is a trick by democrats.
I would tell that he knows that his GOP voters are unable to read !
I just watched Trump telling that election was stolen in Brazil !
And that his speeches are attended by billions of supporters and tons of supporters are outside because they had no place inside.

Ah, we all complain that America is divided and that Trump is an awful person who exacerbates this divide. But tell me, when was America ever truly united? In reality, not in some gilded fantasy of a lost paradise. Maybe like 10% of the time, tops. In the last century alone, you had racial riots, the Vietnam War, recessions, the Great Depression and more recently, several unpopular foreign wars and COVID. Paradoxically, America’s strength lies in her divide. The moment this country stands unanimously behind, one party, the Great Party Leader, the Greatest President of All Time, the Führer, the Father of the Nation, that’s the day America is finished.

I take your point, but I think America is more divided now than it ever has been including during the Civil War. The acrimony, the ugliness, the cruelty, the hate is palpable. And not just against "the other" but against each other. As a nation we have always been divided in arriving at solutions to national problems, but now we are tribal, live in totally different silos, and can't even agree on reality and facts. This does not auger well for the American society. I think when trump is gone and only after MAGA republicans lose election after election will this curse begin to erode and democracy - which only exists when both political parties accept the will of the people and election results - prevails.
