Fentanyl, emigration, are you kidding? This is not about it. You guys don’t get it. You put balls of your neighbor between door and the frame and start to squeeze and when neighbor starts to cry you say that this is all the door’s fault. Let’s remove it. You guys adapt the real dollar (US) instead of your fanny Canadian fake and we have no border customs. By the way you also need to wet all your emigration with us as there is no border anymore and please pay for this missile defence system we are building on your north. Buy the way, your small French Them Park called Quebec needs some renovation. We need to build there Eiffel tower two times taller than in Paris together with the longest des Champs-Élysées in the world. By the way, from now on the name of Quebec City is American Paris.

You are right on many points except most Canadians wouldn't want a nut job as President !

Why do people take drugs and Fentanyl in the first place.
To escape the pain of their reality. The problem with fentanyl, unlike alcohol, is its extreme potency. You need to drink a lot of alcohol to die of an overdose but very little fentanyl added to a street drug cocktail will do the trick. This same potency makes it attractive as an additive but the problem is street level dealers are interested in profits and not safety. Profits come from delivering a great high, and a lot of people die at the expense of one.

That's not how it works. You can't just decree things that have no basis in reality.
Singapore has a Sovereign Wealth Fund worth about US$ 300,000/ person
The US Federal Debt per person is $100,000. State Debt is $25-30K in NY
Canada Federal Debt is about C$32,000 per person
Countries with low debt or surpluses can have Sovereign Wealth Funds. Norway, Iceland, Brunei, Kuwait, Saudi.
13% of the US Budget is allocated to paying interest on the national debt.
In 2024 that was $890 Billion which equals the Defence Budget.
That rises with Interest rates and assumes the world wants to keep buying US Treasuries.

Trump declared bankrupty 6 times. Allowing Trump to fuck around in the Treasury to buy Tik Tok or Crypto threatens the global economy

That my frens it s progress.
Conservative progress in the making.

The fentanyl thing is a smokescreen as very little flows north. Supposedly less than 25kg was apprehended. That doesn't a lot didn't go through.
Increasing the budget and security was agreed last year, probably because Trump had won.
25% tariffs are insane and will damage both economies,
Canada is wise to negotiate trade deals with other countries as the US is going through some "stuff" now and isn't a reliable partner.
Your partner is breaking up with you so you should be exploring other options.

When is the last time your partner looked at you like this?

About fentanyl...

About migrants: we recently had to deal with a massive influx of migrants from “third countries” transiting via the U.S. through to Roxham Road in Canada. As far as I know, it is up to the “country of entry” to enforce who (and what) is coming in. We never blamed the U.S. for not letting them leave…

Again, these are fake/misleading stats already refuted in post #51. In life you have the choice to be a sheep and accept everything statistically presented to you without thinking about it, or you can think about what the stats logically mean. DTOs are not dumb- you think they don't read these stats too? And what do you think it is they do with that information? Double down on what the stats show as far as where to traffic and get caught?

The illegals knew Roxham road was an open crossing with superb benefits, basically Trudeau's fault for not shutting it down. Agree with your comment mostly but if illegals are allowed into Canada easily, and they are it is a short cut to the US, same with illegals coming here from the US but tje US never stated " If Canada doesn't want you we will take you ". The tariffs were a bargaining tool and it looks like it worked for Trump to keep a campaign promise, nothing more.

It's been an open crossing for a very long time. The major difference between being a Canadian and an American is supposed to be empathy.

Besides that what are you even talking about? Canada has been taking on a ton of people fleeing America. With the way things are going Canada will be taking on a lot more. Unless Cheeto man prefers they're all sent back to thier places of origin in cuffs instead?

Absolutely nothing I read there makes a lick of sense at all.

This Tariff game getting SuS.

Canada China surtax Tariff order

Canada: "Effective October 22, 2024, steel and aluminum goods produced in China are subject to a surtax in the amount of 25%"

Not ONE PEEP in the news.
Why was Canada buying so much China Steel and Aluminum?
Is the Canadian steel and aluminum industry as strong as we are led to believe or is it an empty shell company?
Was Canada buying from China and selling to USA as Canadian product?
Trump does exact same Tariff thing and the world panics?
Something is up in the big picture.

Trump promised lower prices.
Of course adding 25% tariffs & lowering prices is in conflict. Liars lie.

Maybe. Chinese has often been found to be inferior. Trump used it in some of his buildings, along with migrant labor, to pay for the gold (plated) fixtures.
