That's exactly correct. I've seen it play out this way before. Republicans mess up the country because they are incapable of governing. Democrats then get elected and try to fix the mess but can't entirely. Republicans blame Democrats for not fixing the Republican mess and the voters with short memories, put Republicans back in charge. It's no wonder the U.S. is a failing country.
