Each time he speak of Canada, he tell that USA don't need anything coming from Canada than add that Canada should become USA 51th State !

It was trump who started the tariffs to begin with. When you start a trade war it only escalates and nobody wins. That's why it's so stupid to even start one especially with a valued ally. So what's trump's end-game? I think this madman wants to hurt Canada economically before he tries to take over your country by force. I know you won't stand for that and neither will non-MAGA Americans.

American here weighing in. What’s going on in this country is a slow and gradual decline of our institutions and generally, a less politically educated population for one that always showed apathy towards its one governmental outcomes (ie American election turnout). It’s an erosion of a middle class that has now become extremely tribal, with left and right entrenched, and the American conservative movement seizing an opportunity like the opportunistic grifters they have always been. Trump is the consequence not the cause. I hope I am wrong. Luckily my Canadian friends are a short drive or flight away during these crazy times!
Trump is a madman, however initiating a counter trade war is counterproductive and at the end it is the consumer that will pay the higher prices. Government will just cash in. Honestly, I dunno what Trump's endgame is, he is a loose cannon. The guy lost it and I do not think he cares because he knows this is his last mandate. Perhaps he just wants to bully others?

It is called create as much chaos as you can and then be the one to solve it and in your own lunatic mind you are America’s hero and salvation.
Probably the weirdest and stupidest negotiation tactic any one ever thought up.
Hopefully countries will learn from this and never make the US their number 1 trading partner ever again including Canada or be so heavily dependant on them.
