Nope. In no time in history Russia was a friend of Iran. They cooperate now out of convenience, but Russia has no resources to provide any substantial economic help beside some intelligence and a limited know-how in military technology.

The Russian’s military exchanges with Iran is a well known and documented fact. If Iran was a helpful supplier of weapons and drones at the beginning of the agression against Ukraine, the situation has drasticaly switched since the agression on Iran by Israel and the USA.
As I said I use all sources for information including Russian speaking military bloggers that have no sympathy for US. Nevertheless, they are quite knowledgeable and have direct information from Russian military and Russian military industrial complex. What are your sources?
