Anon and Henri, I see where you’re coming from and ideally it would be nice if we could just eliminate cell phones all together, but alas they are a part of our culture now. I cannot turn off my cell phone during a session due to work related commitments. Yes, I do realize that I’m the one providing compensation, however part of my enjoyment comes from knowing that the lady I’m with is also enjoying herself. I simply like to have the same rules for both of us. If I can use my cell phone, then so can she. Furthermore, I like to have multi-hour sessions, and it’s not realistic to expect anyone to not use their cell phones for 3 to 4 hours. The main reason though is my conscience. It’s something that I just can’t shake. If I were to tell an SP that she can’t use her cell phone for a 4 hour session, and then she loses out on a regular client because of this, I would never forgive myself.
