My favorite holiday liquors:
1. Evan Williams Original Southern Egg Nog- this is the best egg nog on the market (I've tried them all). It's an amazing concoction of fresh milk and eggs mixed with bourbon whiskey, rum and brandy (15% alcohol), which comes to us from the Evan Williams Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, where they have been making egg nog since 1783. It retails for $9.99(US) per 750 ml bottle, making it undoubtedly the most ridiculously cheap treat at your local liquor store. I buy it every year; this year I bought 5 bottles and already drank 2. I love egg nog!!!!!!!
2. Blue Chair Bay Premium Blend Banana Rum Cream- this blend of real cream, Caribbean rum and caramelized bananas is really delicious, especially if you like that real banana flavor. 15% alcohol. Retails for $17.99(US) per 750 ml bottle.
3. Tito's Handmade Vodka- this is a newer vodka that has recently exploded in popularity due to its very smooth taste. Handmade in Austin, Texas, it has won many awards and is gluten free (it's made from corn, not potatoes), so it is one of the healthier vodkas on the market. 750 ml bottle retails for $20(US).
4. Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey- this Canadian brewed whiskey is the best shot liquor on the market, ANY time of year. Goes down smooth and doesn't cause any hangover effect the next day. Retails for $16.99(US) per 750 ml bottle. It has spawned numerous competitors on the US market, none of which are anywhere near as good. Accept no substitutes- buy the next shot of Fireball!
